I realised that our last review from a few months ago was not put in, but wanted to say, yet again, your b and b is faultless and we would always stay here in preference to anywhere else in the area, whatever the star rating. At some point we would like to stay for a good few days to properly relax in the wonderful hospitality Libby and Simon offer, they do everything perfectly, even catering for special dietary requirements above and beyond what one would expect.

Room Tip: all the rooms lovely

Stayed for one night with friends and wished we had been staying longer. Beautifully decorated spacious room with attractive period features. Room also housed a fridge thoughtfully stocked with water, juices and proper milk for teas and coffees. Afternoon tea offered in the guest lounge on arrival with delicious home made cake. Breakfast was amazing and the breakfast special an excellent idea. Especially liked the use of local produce.

We've stayed here on two occassions, would have been three had they not been so popular! Faultless on all levels. The breakfast is fantastic, we love the take-home choccies. In fact my husband and I went to Burgh Island and their sister hotel The Southernhay (both described as boutique hotels) for our honeymoon last month and we both agreed we'd much preferred the service and attention to detail offered byt this fantastic husband and wife team. We would certainly recommend it to anyone. The location is great, rooms plush, food outstanding....P.S. I particularly love the Welsh blankets and would steal the green one had I not got a conscience, only kidding Libby and Simon.

My husband and I stayed here last year for one night and this year we returned for three nights with another couple. They had room 1, where we stayed last year and we stayed in room 7. Both rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with lovely toiletries and all the lovely touches mentioned in previous reviews. There is a very pleasant garden to sit in with tables and chairs and nice to come back to after a hard day's walking and have a welcome cup of tea (or other beverage). Simon and Libby are extremely helpful and happy to discuss local restaurants and book tables for you. This b&b is so nice that it is a destination in itself and then find places to visit nearby!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night and honestly, it was fantastic. The room was really clean, well thought out and the bed was especially comfortable. There was a fridge, homemade almond cookies, it was just so well thought out and it was clear that the people who run this place really make an effort. They were very friendly, helpful and their food was lovely. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely stay here again if I'm down this way!

Swan Hill House was recommended to us and it certainly didn't disappoint! On the contrary, it was everything you could wish for in a B & B, and more besides. Simon and Libby run a perfect guest house, from their warm welcome to lovely touches such as tea and home-made cake upon arrival and home-made fudge on departure. Our room was huge with beautiful decor and the most comfortable bed. We shall definitely be returning - that is if they aren't fully booked after all these accolades on TripAdvisor!
