“A really nice hotel - can't fault it.”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Spent one week at this hotel 21st - 28th May on a half board basis and it was excellent. We are not usually 5 star hotel people but just wanted a really easy week - which is what we got. We had a room upgrade and because they noticed from checking in that my birthday was during our stay, a birthday cake was delivered to our suite! We had a Junior deluxe suite right at the far top left of the complex so it was really quiet and the views were wonderful. Bed very comfortable too. The suite was kept beautifully clean by Sylvia, who is very good at her job. Food was excellent with masses of choice and the restaurant very well run by Nikos (when does that poor man sleep!?) and Victoria was always very welcoming. The waiters (ours were mostly Ioannis and Tsambikos) were very attentive without being "in your face". The beach was kept very clean and tidy, as was the whole place.
The hotel was by no means full that week and I did feel a bit sorry for Eric, the entertainment guy, but he never gave up making sure everyone knew what was going on, but again not in an annoying way. It was a shame more people did not see some of the evening entertainment as much of it was worth seeing. The spa was also very good and well worth taking advantage of.
It is hard to find fault at all, but if I have to perhaps to say that we had no price list for the mini bar so having fallen foul of rip off ones in the past, we did not take anything from it - a price list would have been useful. Having read a few other reviews it does seem that it is perhaps on the pricey side so I would check. I definitely recommend this hotel, despite the up to 2 hour transfer from the airport. If you have daytime flights it is an interesting drive and the nearer you get to the airport it is like a tour of everywhere you would NOT want to stay! It made us realise how lucky we had been to stay at the Atrium Prestige.

Room Tip: Room 1226 is on the corner so has dual views from the balcony and is nice and quiet.

We have just returned home after a week at this beautiful hotel. This was the 2nd time myself and my daughter now almost aged 21 have stayed at this hotel ( we stayed in 2009 just after it opened) for a girls' flop and drop' after her GCSE'S and this time we returned with my husband) We loved the hotel the 1st time we visited but can truly say it was even better in 2013. The Staff (all of them) are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. If they possibly can, they will accommodate all of your requirements. The accommodation is excellent all have some kind of a view of the sea and are beautifully maintained. The choice is yours according to your budget but whether you opt for a private pool or not the rooms are generally all the same quality. If you can hire a car and explore this end of the Island it is wonderful ! We ate a la carte each night which we enjoyed as the restaurants are both beautiful and very relaxing. However talking to some other guests they all said the food on half board was excellent If you are looking for a truly relaxing holiday, polite efficient and friendly staff, beautiful views and wonderful gardens, this is the hotel for you. To be truthful we would rather keep it a secret ! We hope to be returning VERY SOON !!!!!!!

It’s very difficult to add to the plaudits already given to this hotel and the staff. It really is a remarkable complex offering exceptional amenities and outstanding food.
It takes less than 10 seconds from your arrival to know that you made the right choice for a quality holiday.

You may have noticed that other reviewers have singled out and thanked particular staff for helping to make their holiday special. There is nothing unusual in this but what makes this hotel special is that so many different staff have been praised by different visitors. It is quite exceptional to have a customer service ethos that clearly works and runs through the entire hotel staff.

I only have one very small point to make and it probably relates to the time of year (early June) that we visited the hotel. Almost 25% of visitors had children under 5 yrs. old with them. This is obviously a good time of year to bring small children as it is not as hot as would be in July/August. It was really good to see the children enjoying the resort as much as the adults but it would have been nice to have a small area of the large beachfront set aside for those of us who did not bring our children/grandchildren and just wanted to hear the sound of the crashing waves.

Just two things to remember that others we encountered had not read or had forgotten. The restaurant has a dress code for dinner so gentlemen shorts will not be allowed, regardless of the label or quality. Make sure you have your return boarding pass printed out and with you if you travel RyanAir. Failure to do this cost several people in the check in queue in front of us at Rhodes Airport quite a few extra pounds that they did not want to spend.

Hi, we stayed here mid May 2013 for a week to celebrate my dads 60th. I must say we made the hotel aware of our reason to visit prior to coming and they couldn't have helped more. We were given first class service from Katrina, the hotels Guest Operation Manager via email to organise a few treats on arrival for my dad and during our stay. The hotel really went to town in organising flowers, a surprise birthday cake in the room and yet another birthday cake (both free) at the restaurant we dined at in Lindos. The hotel had actually organised all of this without much of our knowing.

As for the hotel, it really is a special place to stay if you like panoramic views of the sea, which it seemed the hotel was designed around offering this view to everyone no matter where your room was or where you stood in the hotel. The cleaning was superb, spotless with constant maid service everyday. The hotel itself looks freshly painted, i can imagine this gets done every off season. Fixtures and fittings looked almost brand new, you didn't feel like you were laying on sun-loungers that had been used 500 times before etc. We stayed here Half Board, which we thought was better than full board as you really do end up eating a lot at breakfast and then again at dinner, anymore eating and I (personally) felt that it was unnecessary as the meals were so large and filling but very good at the same time. If you needed to swap your dinner meal with lunch so you could travel out at night - this was also an option.

The Restaurant - was a buffet style operation, which was very nicely presented (i think a buffet has to be presented well otherwise it just becomes a canteen, which is off-putting) The style is a buffet starter, buffet main and buffet dessert - OR - you can choose to have an ordered main meal cooked fresh from the menu, which they also present the dish at the front table on entrance to the restaurant (i find this a little weird but it was practical to see what it is you're actually ordering) the food was always hot and the service was almost very good. This is where the 5 star standard slipped slightly. An example - one night we went into the restaurant at 9pm (it closes at 9.30) we sat down, the waiter took our main meal order (which is cooked fresh) and then we had our starter from the buffet. After which the waiters all came out with trolleys and took all of the buffet away even though all we had taken was our starter. They then suggested that we should go get our main and desert at the same time as they were clearing the food away. (In other words, the restaurant was shutting up for the night) i found this a little slack and off putting, as even if we entered at 9.29pm, they should have waited until we have finished our full meal - because thats what a good restaurant does. Not to mention there was still other people dining. Anyway, this really wasn't something to dig about too much and was dealt with very quickly and the hotel manager soon put a stop to it once we made our problem aware to the Maitre D. Then as the holiday continued day by day, the Maitre D couldn't stop fussing over us. So take this with a pinch of salt.

The choice of food was generally very good, there was endless dishes of salmon and other fish, meat and plenty of veg, pasta and and bread for dinner and breakfast was just as varied, you could even have Prosecco to start your day with as well. The deserts were plentiful, with cheese and biscuits as well as cake etc (albeit the cakes were all 'moosey', nothing with a sponge or solid cake, i have yet to find this in a hotel abroad - maybe its just a british preferred thing)

We never dined in any of the other paying restaurants that the hotel had to offer but we heard good things about them, e.g. Lobster Night etc...

The rooms were very spacious with plenty to cater for you. very much a Bedroom away from Bedroom, if that makes any sense... i was never without. Quality shampoo, conditioner, soap left for your convenience everyday as well as a bottle of wine and fresh fruit when we first arrived. I topped this up in room each day from the breakfast buffet. So i always had a bowl of fruit in my room whenever i came back to it. The bed was large, very comfortable and perfect. Well air-conditioned. The bathroom even had a window that allowed you to look into the bedroom, I'm still trying to figure that one out... i hope you're partner likes to watch you shower. Even if you're sharing a twin bedroom.... I can only but think this is for having a bath and being able to see the sea view balcony from all the way in the bathroom... Also the Bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath which i used a couple of times and actually is really nice when you're not paying the water bill.

The 'Animation Team' at this hotel rated a massive 0.5 out of 10. it really was a shocking mix up of crap to offer. I would even go as far as saying this hotel doesn't offer any entertainment at all... i am not really a holiday maker that likes to get up and do aqua aerobics etc but some of the basic entertainment was shockingly 2* quality. I felt this was a big problem area the hotel had to work on. Each night had a different 'event' (for lack of a better word) going on in the upper bar near the lobby, organised by 2 guys that pretty much just wondered around the hotel each day speaking to guests (this was the full animation team) and i found it very annoying as they would constantly approach us and expect a conversation to keep THEM entertained. They would often moan to me about other happenings around the hotel etc which i found very unprofessional. One of the nights entertainment consisted of a sorry man playing the keyboard with some dodgy lighting, all guests that wanted a drink were sat and faced towards this guy on the keyboard and we had to clap after every song he played, it was almost embarrassing. I can appreciate this guys is a talented keyboardist but it would have worked better on a piano played in the lobby as background music and it wouldn't have felt out of place. Not as the nights entertainment. Anyway, again pinch of salt, as this was just our family opinion but see what you think for yourself if you stay here...

The Spa was amazing, first class spa, couldn't cater for you enough with a very relaxing spa heated pool with underwater jets and bath jet beds etc. If you have seen the pictures on this website then i need say no more, make sure you use the 2 free spa and massage tickets you get on arrival with your room key. You can use these anytime within your stay, i think any additional visits cost 12Euro's.

Theres nothing really immediately outside the hotel to walk to, so you'll have to either get a taxi or a car to travel around. We spent a couple of days out in Lindos and Rhodes town which are both definitely worth a visit. We had a drink at a bar called BlueBirdBar in Lindos which had amazing views and good chilled music and had a meal at Melenos Restaurant, Its has a Michelin star, beautiful food again with amazing views over Lindos :) Link here - http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g227884-d1771146-Reviews-Melenos_Lindos_Restaurant-Lindos_Rhodes_Dodecanese.html

Thanks for reading my review, all in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to honeymooners, couples and families.

What an amazing hotel! We have travelled all over the world and stayed in some fabulous hotels but haven’t yet been moved to write a review as the management fulfilled but did not surpass our requirements. This resort changed our view as the management, in particular Katerina Mitsinioti (Operations Manager), really made every effort to make our stay special. We travelled to Rhodes with a baby in tow and another on the way and our expectations were high due to the other reviews – we were not disappointed!

Location – The hotel is situated on the beach so you can lie on your sun lounger by the pool and look at the waves or alternatively go down to the sandy beach – bliss. The grounds are exceptionally well kept with plenty of flowers and the pools seemed to be cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is remote but perfect if you want to get away from it all and there is a reasonable priced mini-market on the site. Don’t let the transfer time from the airport (1 hr by taxi) put you off coming to this resort, although if you have a baby the private taxi transfer probably is best (ask the driver to put the air conditioning up higher in the back).

Accommodation – We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a family suite with two rooms overlooking the adult pool (see below). This really made a difference to our holiday as we were able to relax on the patio when our baby was sleeping. The suite was huge with ample space for luggage and baby paraphenalia and the marble bathroom was large with a Jacuzzi and double sinks. The big plus was the patio outside which was in the sun for most of the day with grass outside which meant you could pull the sunbeds out on to the grass and sunbathe all day if you liked. We didn’t have a private pool but to be honest we wouldn’t have wanted one as it seemed that the patios were smaller for those rooms.

Staff - We would like to say a big thank you to the management, in particular the charming and efficient Katerina M who really made our stay special. When we arrived, we were shown to our room, perfectly nice but on a first floor with a small balcony, so not really suitable for our needs (18m baby). When we explained this to Katerina she very kindly upgraded our room quickly and with no fuss. This made a huge difference to our holiday and was much appreciated. Whenever we went past her office she would pop out with little treats for our baby and when we left we were thrilled to receive a bag filled with little treats. What a lovely lady, she made us feel as if we were family rather than hotel guests and without her many kindnesses it is unlikely that our holiday would have been as fantastic as it was. Note to hotel management – she is a real gem! In fact, all the staff were very friendly and pleasant.

Food - We ate at the main restaurant, welcomed by the very sweet Victoria and Nikos. The food was fresh and delicious – much better than we expected. There was a different theme every night, which kept things interesting. The waiters were very sweet and played peek-a-boo with our little one – they couldn’t do enough to keep her happy.

The hotel caters for couples and families equally well, we would have enjoyed this resort just as much even if we didn’t have a little one, it was very romantic. We will certainly be making a return trip to this resort, we would recommend booking this hotel, you won’t be disappointed!

We have recently returned from a blissful week at this hotel. If you are looking for a relaxing break,in beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you.The architecture of the hotel is very attractive, with many small groups of rooms set into the hillside. There has clearly been a great attention to detail. We had a junior suite with sea view ~ which was maintained even from the bath! The room was very well appointed,if a little kitsch, with clouds & bougainvillea painted on the ceiling. The bed was supersized & extremely comfortable. The pool areas, sunloungers and pool bar staff were excellent, all surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens.Every member of staff was helpful, curteous & friendly, however,Nikos, maitre d' of the main restaurant ,deserves a special mention. He looked after us so well & made so much effort with all of the guests. The quality and choice of food at breakast & dinner was superb. We were sorry to say our goodbye's!The location of the hotel is isolated, but for us,that was part of the attraction. We had a car for the week, which provided an easy transfer & let us explore Lindos and the locality. We would like to say a big thankyou to everyone for a delightful holiday.

My husband and I returned yesterday from a most enjoyable week at this hotel.
Where can I start?
The hotel is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, The room(ours was a junior suite)
was pristine, spacious and stylish.....down to the details of tiny lights in the ceiling above the jacuzzi bath, painted butterflies on the bedroom ceiling, and his and hers sinks!
The food was varied and delicious, and the maitre d', Nicos, and his assistant Victoria, were courteous, helpful, efficient and friendly.
The pools were spotless, with plenty of sunbeds.
The staff , from the reception desk to housekeeping (we really enjoyed the delicious chocolates

given to us by our lady!), from gardening staff to pool maintenance and beach bar, and the wonderful restaurant staff, were courteous and professional, and always greeted us with a smile!
Only one snall negative...the free wi-fi was intermittent and weak.....but this is a minor niggle....I have no hesitation in recomnending thus wonderful hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing and luxurious break!

given to us by our lady!!), gardener to bellboy, pool attendant to beach bar staff, entertainment staff
to restaurant staff were friendly and courteous, combining efficient service with a greeting and a
smile.
Only one small negative point..., the free wi-fi was rather intermittent and unreliable.
I would fully recommend thus hotel to anyone wanting a luxurious and relaxing break!

smile!
I would thoroughly recommend this amazing hotel to anyone wanting s luxurious and relaxing break.
Only one small downside...the free wi-fi had a rather weak, transient signal....but only a very small point.

Room Tip: Our room was a junior suite....fabulous!
