We booked a table for 8 guests during our visit to Dumfries and Galloway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and light. The food was abolutely gorgeous. We all had a mixuture of starters, main and desserts. The meals came out very hot and we didnt have to wait long in between each course. We'd like to say a very big thank you to the chef and staff for making our last night very special. We would recommend this hotel for eating out and would defintely go back again. 100%!

This was my third visit for dinner and again it was very good. The chicken with haggis and the slow cooked sirloin were excellent and both were good sized portions. The accompanying vegetables, chips, roast and boiled potatoes were freshly cooked and tasty. For starters the goat's cheese was fine but the melon with berries was rather frugal and disappointing. However, I would recommend this restaurant for consistent high quality. The service was efficient and helpful. Great location for a walk along the beach either before or after your meal. And parking not a problem.

Very poor takeaway service, greasy fish and burnt burgers. They forgot to put salt and vinegar on any of the food (we did ask), leaving it tasting very bland. Took burnt food back in and was treated as if we were in the wrong.. they did refund.

Waited 25 minutes for order to be taken. When main course arrived expected the veg to follow but had to remind them. Basically it's a good cafe serving a caravan site, I would not call it a restaurant. Expensive for what it is.
