I can't beleive i never knew about this little place. I've been in Butuan a few times and stayed elsewhere. This time I quickley checked into Gloreta which is just down the road for one night. As i was walking by Wayfarers i was supprised i'd never noticed it before so i asked their room rate. It was cheaper than Gloreta so checked in the next day and wasn't dissappointed. It has a very good restaurant and food menu, which is hard to find in Butuan for a Foreigner. It was always busy, which was nice. The room was very good for the price, very clean, ok size for 2 people. Had an extra single bed which is good for emptying your stuff onto. The aircon was good also and the shower was ok too.
I found all of the staff very friendly and helpfull but it really was having the restaurant that made it worth it. Decent ingrediants were used even down to the bread which is a hard thing to get in Philippines sometimes.
In all i stayed for 4 nights and would stay again if in Butuan City
