“Perfect meal to end fantastic day out in Arrieta”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

We arrived a bit too early for lunchtime opening (1pm) so killed some time in the nearby supermarket. Worth the wait, very warm welcome with free aperitif whilst we perused the menu.
Ordered the hake, but we were persuaded by the chef and waiter to also try the catch of the day.
This was a good decision, and we were really happy with the fish, served with Canadian potatoes and salad. Managed to eat the chocolate pudding too ! The waiter seemed to be managing all the work all by himself, and as the tables gradually filled up, he still managed to keep the good standard of service up.
We will definately return , as this place is just a notch or two above normal standards in Lanzarote.

“An amazing experience with an inventive chef.”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is an absolute gem. We visited twice during our stay in the North-East of Lanzarote. The variety of food is excellent and always includes several fresh fish choices of which the red snapper was an especial favourite. I had also tried medallions of duck which was delicious. To cap it all, the gofio pudding was light and a new delightful experience. Arrieta is only a small place but has an amazing range of eateries. Well worth a visit.

“Great fish, fast and efficient service, lively atmosphere”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

We ate here midweek in February and enjoyed the lively atmosphere, lots of local families as well as tourists. The fish was fresh and delicious. Prices were reasonable and service was speedy and efficient. No fuss, no problems. Popular so you may need to book . . . we got a table at 7.30 but it was almost the last one. They eat at normal hours in Lanzarote so don't be late!

“Wonderful seafood”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

Had a wonderful meal here for my husbands birthday. Started with Puff pastry filled with prawns which was delicious and Octopus tentacles fried in mojo sauce which was extremely tender. We both opted for fish that we had never tried before, barracuda and white tuna both served with canarian potatoes and salad. Both main courses were really tasty but very different in texture and taste. Barracuda was a much softer white fish than I imagined thought it would be more like shark and the white tuna was gorgeous very meaty and firm. We are not really dessert people but manage to try the Princess Diana tart which was a bit like chocolate brownie but a bit softer.
We usually have Yaiza or Bermejo Seco with fish but tried El Grifo Collection which was really lovely apparently only available in restaurants and nothing like the plonk you buy in supermarkets.
Waiter was very helpful and friendly and the view from window seat is stunning. Cant wait to go back

“Creative twist to local seafood!”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

After clearly noticing we made a wrong choice at another pre-selected restaurant, we left and looked for another place to eat. We landed here by chance and I even did not had tine to check reviews! I guess I was quite lucky as we ended up having one of the greatest fish burgers I ever had!! It was crunchy and with a tasty sauce. I forgot almost to mention that the starters were excellent too of which I liked the marinated salmon the best!! Octopus was also among my favorites! What’s clear is that the chef is very creative and gives the dishes his personal touch! What was somehow surprising was that on our question whether we could get some fries for our kids, the waiter answered; “ the chef thinks that fries are for Madonna’s?” Not sure what that means, but clearly the fries would have been a better choice than the chips we got although they were homemade and tasty!
Other than that, this is definitely a great small fish restaurant you should not miss-out!!
