After spending 1 week on another atoll, we added 4 nights at Reethi Beach as my husband wanted to “meet” the mantas at Hanifaru Bay (famous for being a nursery ground for mantas and sharks ) and close to the Resort. What a great idea!

We liked the resort so much that we extended our stay to one full week.

We opted for the sea plane transfers, well worth it. Manta Air has very nice
aircrafts and excellent pilots! Hassle free transfer from Male to the Resort.

As soon as we arrived at the Resort we were “greeted” by stingrays and sharks that show up every day by the jetty. Amazing to see them so close.

The resort is beautifully set within a lush forest. Great place for snorkeling, diving (very nice team at Ocean Fanatics!) or just to relax. We stayed at a Deluxe Villa. All villas have direct access to the large beach. Each villa has its own patio/loungers + dedicated lounger on the beach.

We were really amazed by the quality of the food (plenty to choose from), the friendliness and excellent service of the staff. We also tried Moodhu bar & restaurant which has a very romantic ambience and also excellent food.

I also loved the many swings you can find around the island to relax and admire the stunning views.

We really had an fantastic week, meeting with super friendly guests including being invited to a couple’s wedding on the beach! You will find a number of repeater guests at Reethi Beach which is a very good sign.

We are already planning to return to Reethi Beach as soon as possible.

Piece of advice for the ladies: leave you high heels at home, a pair of flip flop is all you need on this very relaxed and beautiful island.

COVID-19: All precautions are taken and PCR test (if needed) is done at the Resort

Channa made our stay as good as we could ever imagine. 5 stars for the resort, the hospitality and the service! We had amazing 9 days in that small paradise islands resort. The beach dinner, organised by Channa became a life time memory. I’d be recommending it to everyone.

I am so happy we have chosen Reethi Beach for our 10 days holiday. Everything was just perfect.
I can tell you all that this Island is a paradies for divers and snorkelers. The underwater life is amazing and so alive. We already travelled a lot in Maldives and have a lot of experience, but this underwater life is just stunning. We were so surprised.

The rooms and the island furniture are little old but this is not very important because all the rest is perfect.

All the staff over there are super friendly especially Ali Nasheed (Rooms Division Manager), Jarey (F&B Manager), I don’t know her name but she is a very beautiful indian girl working in the bar and Maajid from the Restaurant. Those people gave everything to make our stay unforgettable. Thanks for that!
But all the staff are amazing!

The island is giving you a total natural island feeling with all the coconut trees and the jungle plants.

Reethi Beach is also offering a lot of choice for all the meals. We were staying there for 10 days and didn’t got boring with the food. The Moodhu Bar is a stunning place with very good quality food. In general the food over there is very tasty and very fresh.
I can tell you I am very picky with food and get stomach upset very easily but there everything was super fine!
Thanks for always serving me coconut every single day.

Also you have to know that on the Island you will only have WiFi in the bars, reception and restaurant. This was the perfect opportunity to really calm down and relax without using my phone all the time. I really enjoyed it so much.
If you need WiFi in your room then you can buy it at the reception.

I can highly recommend this island for your holiday and have to say thank you all again for such a nice experience. You all are doing a great job! I hope to come back soon

Best regards,
Shameem & Alessia

I had a fantastic time at Reethi Beach Resort. The island is awesome, relaxing and charming! This is the perfect place to do snorkel and enjoy the magic of the ocean. I loved the food, the variety is impressive and the taste is pretty good. I liked my villa a lot, had a wonderful rest. Fonimagoodhoo is a small island, you can walk all around in less than 15 minutes, which lets you watch the sunrise and the sunset depending on what part of the island you are located. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. I was amazed to have a representative of the hotel at my arrival to Maldives and even till my departure at the airport. I had time to relax, to read, to wander around the island, to reconnect with God and with myself, to live the "here and now". I highly recommend this place!

It was my first time on Maldives and it appeared to be even better than I expected.
I chose seaplane transfer, it's pricey but the process went smooth.
The hotel was built as a 4* many years ago. That means that villas are nice but they doesn't look new or posh. Anyway, everything worked as expected, open sky bathroom is amazing, bed is comfortable and everyday cleaning was perfect.
I stayed in Reethi villa and was provided with highest level of privacy, which was exactly what I wanted. Villas are separated, I had my own sunloungers on a beach in front of my villa, separated from neighbors' sunloungers by bushes.
Unfortunately there were wild nature invaders in open bathroom (ants decided to drink from the toilet and then started fighting other ants) but guys from reception solved this problem.
I was provided with 2 bottles of water a day and despite my worries it was enough.
Buffet style food was good, not fancy, not a high-end dining, just good. I liked breakfast the best. I am choosey and my stomach is delicate but I could always pick suitable food.
If you order water or any other drinks for lunch or dinner they're not free but you can take the water from you room.
Service was good all the time, everyone was polite and friendly. I forgot to bring a cable for my gopro and surprisingly personnel could find it for me!
Massage in Coconut Spa was very relaxing.
Hotel allows to checkout just before transfer back which let me enjoy last half of day swimming instead of waiting for transfer in a lobby. Many thanks for that!
The island is amazing, I've been snorkeling almost all the time here and there and explored both sides of an island. I met turtles, sharks, rays, octopus, giant lobster (which was sadly eaten the next day by some animal) and dozens types of fish.
Visibility depends on tide and wind, sometimes it was good, sometimes not.
I also spotted dolphins swimming past the island in the early morning.

If to say about what could've been better, then it's meat in main restaurant, I can live without meet so I didn't care much but those meat dishes I tasted were dry and hard to chew.
Beach cleaning could've been better as it's hard not to step on coral particle or shell and overall beach view wasn't so spotless.

Overall, good value for the price.
