I have been visiting this area of France for many years now. I accidentally stumbled upon this little gem.

Upon walking in the aesthetics gave me the impression that the place was going to cost a fortune however I couldn't have been more wrong.

The staff in here are really helpful and also speak English. The food is the best I have tasted in the last 5 15 years of visiting. The chefs hear really know what they are doing when creating these artistic dishes.

Will definitely recommend to my friends and family

We booked at short notice , the restaurant itself is charming , would of liked a little more choice on the menu .
We had been told about the restaurant and the quality of food and service , I thought the food was ok to good , a little pricey for what it was maybe .

Will we be rushing back ? I think it is a lovely restaurant inside we would probably give it a go again at some point , but there was just something not making me want to rush back --maybe atmosphere , service not sure

Booked for the family at short notice and loved the atmosphere of the interior and the warm welcome.

We had trouble with the menu - even though I'm normally good with French - but the owner helped us translate and we made our choices after a wine recommendation. Speciality is the trout and it's a shame it's the only fish option as I'm not a fan - though there was a fish stew on offer too.

Menus start at 20 euro up to 30 for three courses so it's good value. Our wine was 15 euro and for a family of four with two bottles it cost 150 euro - not cheap but we ate very well!

We ate beef stew (which had an incredibly rich lovely sauce, trout, and finally steak which my son declared to be the best he's ever had - and he's had a few. The starters were especially lovely with fresh salads with meat and cheese, chicken with pastry and cream sauce which frankly was so big I was full before my main but it was too good to put down my fork and leave. Desserts were panacotta, cheesecake and crème pat with biscuit - a kind of deconstructed cheesecake - all very good.

I would recommend and would visit again. The owners and staff make you feel incredibly welcome.

My husband and I always make a point of visiting the restaurant whenever we come to or visit the area.
As we normally do we rang for a reservation and we're told that there would be a table available for us. I noticed that it was a different person on the phone and noted that it had been sold and taken over by someone new. We wasn't put off and thought we would give it a go and made our way over at 8 pm with friends for the first evening meal on holiday. Being a firm favourite of ours and visited so often in the past we were disappointed.
The menu has changed a little and the once lovely friendly atmosphere has been replaced with a quiet formal one. The food was good although not to the previous standard or portion size and the prices are slightly higher. My favourite Truite de beurre blanc is no longer on the menu.
We ordered drinks and often had to remind the waiter to bring some more whereas in the past we would have been asked as soon as the glasses were empty. It wasn't particularly busy either. The atmosphere just isn't the same without the previous owners and we didn't bother with desserts.
Sadly we left and feel as though the magic is gone a little from Le Rebenty.

We visited Le Rebenty for the first time and found the choice, quality and presentation of the food quite excellent. The starters are good, the main courses are very good and the deserts were excellent.
The dining room is spacious and the staff are very attentive.
Overall, an extremely enjoyable experience.
