“Lovely home in a beautiful location”

Ken and Shona made us feel very welcome and provided us with lots of information and tips on the best places to visit. The house was comfortable, immaculate and had everything we needed. The garden was great and very safe for our toddler who loved playing in it. The coast and the mountains are within driving distance of the house, as well as plenty of other attractions.

“A Perfect Family Holiday Home”

We recently spent 10 wonderful days at Les Trois Ânes with our young son, and could easily have stayed the entire season. Shona and Ken are fabulous hosts and have equipped the gîte with everything for a comfortable holiday. The décor is lovely and comfortable, suitable for young children as well as any group. There is ample seating at the dining table and the garden table, board games, DVDs in French and English, and of course the resident donkeys. The enclosed garden with BBQ, loungers and dining table are perfect for restful days at home. The Béarne area is full of historic, cultural, geological and religious sites to keep everyone busy. Walking paths, shopping, fishing, restaurants and museums are within a short walk. Beaches, high Pyrenees peaks and caves are within an easy drive. We'll be back to enjoy many different seasons at gîte Les Trois Ânes.

“Charming, peaceful house, helpful owners, lovely location”

Les Trois Anes is a spacious 300 year old house on 3 levels, with 2 large bedrooms and 2 smaller attic bedrooms. It has been beautifully restored with all modern conveniences and yet the owners have maintained authentic charm, with exposed original beams and sections of Gascon stone walls. It is more spacious than the photos indicate. Ken and Shona have thought of every item their guests might need to be comfortable: guide books, a wide range of kitchenware, dinner ware and glassware, comfortable beds etc. There is an efficient dishwasher and clothes washer/drier. The house is next door to the owners' home, but has its own spacious garden, with outdoor table, chairs, sun lounges and barbecue. This is a beautiful part of France, and staying in this house really added to our enjoyment of the region. Ken and Shona are English, and both speak French. They have lived in the area for about 10 years, so are wonderfully helpful with restaurant suggestions and so on. You can book direct on their website. http://lestroisanes.weebly.com/

“Charming gite in a great location for a varied holiday”

Very charming gite in a pretty little village. Convient for local bolangerie, supermarket and road links to both the mountains and coast.

Gite is very comfortable and the owners who live next door are extremely hospitable. Four good sized bedrooms provided plenty of space for extended family holiday. Children loved the donkeys outside the front door.

“Ample accommodation with charm in a ideal location”

This suited me absolutely for my fishing trip to the Pyrenees. Just a short trip to the Supermarkets and other amenities the accommodation is very spacious and well renovated. The facilities in the property are good with en suite bathrooms and a relaxing lounge area. The garden is secluded and the surroundings are quiet, disturbed only by the church clock!
