went for a family meal for our wedding anniversary. waitress was excellent and the younger members of our party were well catered for. However if ordering steak, ask for it a few degrees below what you would like as the chef seems to cook everything to medium / well done whatever you ask for!

Loved the lamb chops and shepherd's pie with a pint of Guinness. Pub itself is cozy, the service excellent. Recommend!

Lamb cutlets cooked to order and the waitress (daughter of owner) couldn't have been nicer! Even ran into ore guests from our B&B who had the lamb stew and concurred...excellent!

My daughter and I stopped in to Larkin's because it was on the late side and they were recommended for dinner. We had wonderful, friendly service in a very comfortable friendly inviting environment. We were delighted to learn their brown bread was gluten free/low. It was the first bread I've had in years that was real bread!!! I went back to the bakery next door the next day and purchased a loaf of the bread :)

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the bar staff, and in particular the very friendly and chatty young guy (he was about to go to New York on holiday) and the drinks. We had Irish stew, prawns, roast beef and sad to say we wouldn't go back there to eat as it was school dinner type food, but not cheap, with far too much in the way of stodgy vegetables, especially mash. 110 euros for six isn't that pricy, but in our opinion it should have been better. Free wifi was good and reliable.
