If your in South Lake Tahoe, you have to try Tonys Cheesesteaks! Big sandwichs and great raviolis, butternut squash, my favorite! Look for the new location, next to Naked Fish on Hwy 50, about 2 blocks from Stateline Nevada Casino's. Should be open beginning of June! Check Tonys out when your in Lake Tahoe.

“Fabulous Sandwiches!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2008

I agree with the previous reviewer that the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich at Tony's isn't exactly like one from the traditional Philly Cheesesteak places of Philadelphia. However, if you are looking for a delicious filling sandwich in the general style of Philly Cheesesteaks, be sure to visit Tony's. The bread was wonderful, there was tons of tender delicious hot meat and melted provolone on the top. I got onion rings too, which were very good. It was one of my favorite meals in Lake Tahoe. It's a very casual place, cash only, order at the counter.

1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2008

no wiz no white american 9 dollars for 8 inches with about 5 oz of meat chicken was like a grilled chicken sandwhich didnt taste bad but definitly definitly and i repeat DEFINITLY NOT A CHEESESTEAK I DONT KNOW WHO THE #$#$ told somebody that a cheesesteak comes with peppers onions and mushrooms and for all you people who arent from philly they dont come unless asked for it. a real cheesteak is about 6 to 7 dollars for a 12 inch roll with about 12 to 16 oz of meat with about 4 slices of cheese melted into the meat also you use a little oil on the surface that your cooking on so you get a little grease with it
