We went here by scooter, while stay at Pondok Sebatu Villa. You will get a free sarong at the entrance. We remarked that the entrance fee (Inr. 30.000 pp) is double the price of Gunang Kawi Tampaksiring and Tirta Empul, while you spend less time here probably...The place is nice, but very small and we left after probably 20 minutes.

What can I tell. It works.
There is a Vishnu temple. Make a prayer not to maintain the stuff you do not need anymore and ask to take it back. Get a darshan.
Focus on your bath .

I went to Sebatu spring on a personal journey of healing after the recent loss of a dear friend. My driver of 8yrs accompanied me to guide me through. I wont go into the process but can say that it was amazing. Sebatu is a special and very spiritual place that eased my grief. Its not a place so much to go to but a place to feel and heal. Was the most special part of my time in Bali.

I spent c. 90min in Gunung Kawi, there´s a lot of stairs (down, and back up), but it´s all worthwile doing as the temples are beautiful, the views are nice and it´s all well kept. Recommended for early morning to avoid the heat...bring a sarong, or borrow it at the gate.

Beautiful little village 20 minutes north of Ubud; wonderful temple; beautiful rice terraces; friendly people and good cafes to eat.
