The kids loved their own menus, coloured pencils, new Spanish words, nachos, and speedy arrival of food.
Mum loved her margarita, soft shell taco De Polio - chicken with a mole verde sauce and toasted almonds and the very reasonable prices - she was paying !!
Granny loved De Puerco - coffee, chilli and brown sugar spiced braised pork spare ribs, the shared guacamole and tostadas, and most of all her long margarita with tequila, grapefruit juice, coriander and ginger syrup. Wanted another one several hours later when back at home.
We all loved the churros rolled in cinnamon and sugar with rich chocolate sauce ( not too sweet,)
Very busy, fast friendly service, pretty noisy. We enjoyed sitting out the back. Blankets , candles and patio heater for cooler nights ahead.
A very welcome addition to Havelock North dining. We' ll be going again.
