No praise is high enough for this truly outstanding place. The accommodation is best described as " Jeeeez... I wish I lived here" ! The owners Matt & Sandy are warm and friendly and talking to them over the most delicious breakfasts added to the pleasure of staying here.

They make you feel like KIngs such is the high class luxury you find yourself surrounded by. The views from the breakfast terrace , the wonderfully tended gardens and superb saltwater pool and hot tub are unequalled. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean ...fit for a king and his queen !
Thank you Matt & Sandy for being wonderful hosts and such nice people.

Room Tip: The Master Suite has private entrance and easy access to all facilities.

I found this little gem through Living Social, and what a treasure it turned out to be. Matt and Sandy were wonderful hosts - kind, thoughtful, informative and very, very welcoming. This was our first wineries vacation and Matt was able to supply us with some very useful information. We loved having breakfast on the balcony and could have easily stayed there until lunchtime! The food was excellent and plentiful. We stayed in the Sage room which was bright and spacious and had everything we needed. Our only regret is that we hadn't planned for a longer stay....still, there's always next time and we will most definitely return.

My husband and I did our first tour through the Okanagan. Eden House is in a great location, very short drive to Penticton and to Okanagan Falls, right in the heart of the wine country. Loads of vineyards in a very short distance away. The property is beautiful, extremely large and well kept. We brought our dog with us, who honestly thought he was in heaven with three dogs to play with, donkeys to look at next door and 3.5 acres of completely fenced in place to run around! This would also be beneficial if you have children :) We stayed in the cabin, very cozy and bright. Delicious breakfasts both mornings and very friendly hosts. We also used the hot tub (still a little chilly for the pool although we swam in the lake nearby). Definitely recommend for a getaway.

Room Tip: The cabin was really nice and very private but quite small.

What a lovely weekend we had thanks to Sandy and Matt for their amazing hospitality and beautiful oasis in Kaleden. This was our first B&B experience and we were so impressed. From the beautiful property, to the quaint little cabin we stayed in, the amazing breakfasts on the deck, fun doggies to greet us, and the most gracious and unobtrusive hosts. Sandy and Matt are very warm and welcoming people and make you feel very comfortable. They provided us with winery recommendations, things to do and see and places to eat. Sandy and Matt have thought of everything to make your stay most pleasurable. We would recommend this B&B to any of our friends and family.
Thanks again, Karen and Darcy

Sandy & Matt are great hosts as are their three beautiful dogs (beautifully behaved also!). We were welcomed and shown the lovely property which is immaculate. We stayed in the private cabin as all other rooms were booked for the long weekend. It was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served on the large patio overlooking the valley. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and cooked by the hosts. Matt gave us great tips for which wineries to visit and where to have lunch - all which were outstanding!
The hosts offered their BBQ for us to use which was perfect after a day of touring. We had a BBQ dinner outside in their little oasis - pool, hot-tub and garden. Then after lit the fire and sat out watching the sun go down and toasting marshmallows - perfect end to the weekend.
Thank you Sandy & Matt - we definitely recommend your B&B to our friends and we had a lovely stay!

We learned about this place through a Living Social deal, and planned an impromptu getaway in the Okanagan for this past weekend. We had never visited wine country or toured wineries, but the deal, $270 for 2 nights with breakfasts and a complimentary wine tour, was a good excuse for a new experience. Matt and Sandy are wonderful hosts, very warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding wineries. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing-- belgian waffles, fresh fruit smoothies or fruit salads, spicy sausage, fresh juice and coffee-- and if the weather is gorgeous (as it was for us), breakfast is served on a large patio overlooking the valley and community of Kaleden. The property is beautiful, serene and spacious, and the log home is stunning. Our room, the Sage suite, was tastefully decorated, had a little kitchen suite and sitting area, as well as a jacuzzi tub. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
Matt gave us great recommendations and tips regarding which wineries to check out depending on what kind of wine we liked and our price range. We had a wonderful weekend, our first time wine-tasting, soaking up the sunshine and the delicious fruits of the valley. Would highly recommend this B&B, and a visit to the Oliver-region wineries. If you go, be sure not to miss the Silver Sage winery (a rich experience and every wine absolutely delicious), and Noble Ridge winery, especially if "David" is doing the tastings. We learned so much and were refreshed in many ways.
Kaleden is a little known gem, very close to the southern half of the Okanagan's wineries, just a few minutes' drive from Penticton, which has every amenity you could wish for and some great restaurants.

Room Tip: A couple of the rooms have jazuzzi tubs, and the Master Suite, which wasn't available when we bo...

We are a Vancouver couple who travel to the Okanagan several times a year and we ALWAYS stay with Matt & Sandy (the hosts) at their wonderful Okanagan wine country retreat. From the moment we arrive we feel instantly relaxed and comfortable with the little slice of paradise. No other place combines the rooms, pool, decks, garden, views, quietness, privacy and fabulous breakfast the way the Eden House does.

The rooms are very private, quiet, and comfortable and are filled with all the conveniences you can think of. The breakfast changes every day and includes fresh local fruits, jams, breads and include a full hot entree. The pool and hot tub spa is surrounded in wonderfully landscaped plants, trees and shrubs creating a garden oasis you'll not want to leave. The property is huge with rolling lawns, fruit trees and beautiful gardens and is completely gated.

The unobstructed views of the lake and hills are spectacular morning to night. Many wineries (including the popular Golden Mile road) are nearby as are restaurant and beaches.
Be prepared to be spoiled and completely relax.

Room Tip: 4 rooms in total - 1 private cabin, 2 downstairs rooms are cooler in the hot months, and the large m...
