Just spent a very relaxing week after Christmas at Ebenezer Hall. We were there with son, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren and dog. Loved the whole layout of the hall with the big family room upstairs which was perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal. All the equipment you could need in the kitchen area, took a little time to get to grips with cooker but only because I am used to a gas range. Nespresso coffee machine went down so well with oldest grandson he bought one when he got home.
Would highly recommend for the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere of the accommodation and the beautiful scenery.

“Wonderful!”
Reviewed December 16, 2016 for a stay in December 2016

We were a group of six ladies staying last week at Ebenezer Hall and we were so impressed by it. From the beautifully styled yet unfussy bedrooms with super comfy beds to the really well appointed kitchen including a Nespresso coffee maker. The lovely wood burner kept us cosy and warm while making the place really homely. All in all a fantastic weekend in a beautiful property we'd love to visit again. Only down side was we never managed to work out the hot water so it was cold showers all round but in the lovely surroundings even that was forgivable!! Highly recommended.

Thanks so much for your review Lesley. We're so sorry about the hot water - I think I know what happened and could have explained how to get it working. If you come back we'll make sure it's toasty for you next time!
Best wishes

“Beautiful home in a lovely village”
Reviewed June 6, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Just spent a few sunny days in Leadhills at this fabulous property. Lots of space and all the equipment you could wish for, there's even a playstation for the teenagers in the family! And for the younger members of the family a visit to the teddy bear museum in the village is recommended. Very friendly area with a shop, pub, nice walks and fishing.

“'Ezer Goode, 'Ezer Goode, Ebenezer Hall is Good!”
Reviewed October 14, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Love this place! Would like to take it home...

Comfortably coped with 7 people (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms).
Kitchen is well equipped for cooking for larger numbers. The local shop is open good hours 7 days a week, is well-stocked but tiny!
The kids' highlights were the Playstation 2, the "Nespresso Aeroccino" milk fluffer machine and the football/basketball court at the school.
Visited New Lanark, which was brilliant and going to visit the Crawick Multiverse at Sanquhar later in the week.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed July 5, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

What a great place, we have stayed in Leadhills 4 years running now and this is by far the nicest let so far. There is plenty of room for everyone, the bedrooms are light and spacious and the living/kitchen area is a great place. Having the patio for a BBQ was a plus too.
It is very close to the village shop and pub (which serves exellent food) and the whole area is just fantastic. We went gold panning and actualy found a few grains.
I would highly recommend Goldenhills to any one be it a group or just a family, it is very well appointed, clean and warm.

“Fabulous accommodation in interesting wee village”
Reviewed December 28, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Great holiday over Christmas. High standard of accommodation - a lovingly converted Brethren meeting hall - with plenty room for our family group. Sociable big living/dining/kitchen area with cozy wood burning stove. Bedrooms and bathrooms aplenty. No mobile signal, but wifi in property. Owner promptly had someone come to sort out a problem with the cooker. Leadhills is an interesting wee village with a village shop and hotel. Highly recommended, characterful holiday house.

Enjoyed a fantastic week. Had everything we needed. Lovely spacious family friendly accommodation. Quaint village and enjoyed the railway. Also great base for walks and access to Glasgow. The coffee machine was a treat too!
