“Freshness and quality”
Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

We came from Sedgway, Ak and we were really surprised to find this restaurant with a kind service and the best food we had in 7 days in Alaska. Fresh and quality are the two words which come in mind for this restaurant. Just they were in lack of some desserts, but it was late!

“Good Pasta in Whitehorse”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

My wife and I went here for a nice romantic dinner.

The restaurant is located in the 2-0-2 Hotel on the main floor. There is no real dress code stated but you will feel more at home if you have something a bit dressy, not track pants.

The staff was very attentive and always there to help. The food was very good.

We had a Caesar and a House salad for starter which were both very good. For main course my wife had Bison boneless ribs and she said they were 4.5 out of 5.

I had pasta; Penne with Aspargus in an Alfredo sauce. I ordered a side of chicken to go with that. It was good. I would give it 3.5 out of 5.

We had 1/2 liter of red Italian house wine. Very good.

The service was fast and well trained staff.

We were to full to have any desert.

Hope that helps,

Cheers, Anders

“Late night dinner (9:30pm) Nice stop”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

Food was good, service good. After the food in the Yukon on the trip into Alaska, I wasn't expecting to eat for 3 days on the return trip. We ventured out, found this little nook downtown and decided to try it. Other than the 2 bar tables of like 12 people each who could do nothing but YELL to speak....the restaurant was great. There was nothing the restaurant could do as the people were just YELLERS...so at 9:30pm we weren't too concerned. I ordered the Prawns and Linguine in a white wine sauce....it was perfectly cooked, a little dry but nice flavor.
My daughter ordered the steamed mussels and she loved them! The desserts are to DIE for! WOW! TRY THEM!
Service was pleasant and happy. It was SOOO nice to see SMILES! NICE JOB! I'd return if I ever come back up.

The service was wonderful. The food even better. We went on the recommendation of our tour host...she was spot on...the moussaka was delicious...the rack of lamb sumptuous. ...a beautiful crust..cooked to a turn. We grew up across from Manhattan and have eaten all over the world. ..thus is an excellent choice for dinner.

“don't let the outside scare you...”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

so this restaurant is indeed inside a bit of a run-down hotel. But if you let that stop you, you'll miss out on a truly enjoyable and delicious experience. The restaurant is beautiful inside and a kickback to Europe. (check out their website if you want). The menu is amazing.

We had appetizers that were so plentiful that we should have just shared one. The server was attentive without being overly intrusive. The main dishes were simply delicious. Couldn't even eat it all. Dessert - OMG. Eat the Tiramisu. It is a work of art!

Our food was hot, properly paced for a nice evening and we just couldn't have had a nicer evening. We'll be back!
