My wife and I booked this at the hotel. We were told our driver would arrive at 4;00pm. Well, she showed up at 4:20 and a couple of us started razzing her about her timing. That's when we learned about the "ish" in Canada. She told it was about 4 ish. We had a blast with her, both going and returning to the hotel. We met Frank Turner, who has competed in most of the long distance mushing competitions in Alaska and Canada. He took us on a tour of his facility and told and showed us the humane treatment of his dogs. Afterwards, we were treated to a dinner of local meat and vegetables grown on site. The Bison and Elk were excellent. Well, everything was.

The most amazing experience ever! Did a 1/2 day trip (3 hours) and had a total blast! loved the friendly dogs and the people at Muktuk. Our guide jeff was a genuinely nice, caring and efficient guide. Because we went in september when the temperature is not as low the dogs tire (they love to run in -20s and -30s) Jeff made sure the dogs got rest and love in between. We were also looked after and guided well. Muktuk Adventures is a home to over 150 dogs . Even when the dogs get old or sick and retire they get loving care. I am very glad I went for my first mushing adventure with this outfit!

Best experience ever while visiting the Yukon (apart from the northern lights). You will have a BLAST! And the best part? This company treats their dogs like kings! I was surprised how well they feed them, care for them and treat them (for an animal lover as me, this is a huge deal to keep in count).
The owner, Jack, has built an amazing experience, filled with fun, adventure and laughs!
Great staff. AWESOME DOGS!
Please don't miss it!

We took the 1/2 dogsled tour + Taste of Yukon dinner with Muktuk.

The dogs are well behaved and beautiful. The tour went well although I would have liked to have 2 guides with our group instead of just one. Kinda felt a bit uneasy at certain points and that would have felt better with a bit more supervision. Dave, our guide, was great and we did have lots of fun. The experience is exhilarating and just incredible when you are sledding over the lake.

Dave let my son take feed to dogs afterwards. They are all wonderfully friendly dogs.

The Taste of Yukon dinner was a slight disappointment. Food was OK but it was buffet style and the kinda ran out of food at the end.

Overall it was a great experience but would probably not recommend the Taste of Yukon dinner.

This is a wonderful outfit, with true passion for the dogs and the sledding. Our guide Greg was extremely professional and friendly. A stunning experience (full-day sledding). An absolute must-do!
