I learned a lot and there are many exhibits. Would like to see the outdoor space developed more. I would highly recommend a visit!

You might walk past this and you would seriously miss the best of the history of the area.
Julie is in charge of the reception and she will do everything she can to give you all the information on the history of this great town and its people. We found it a great way to find out about the Yukon and the Gold Rush. We spent about one and a half hours there and finished with a film about the Northern Lights. The staff are great and will do everything they can to help you gain information about the history of the area.

Great overview of the town and area. We liked the animal displays as well as the period/location displays which showed what gold rush life was like. You could probably spend at least 2 hours here is you read all the display information.

This museum is worth the visit if you like finding out more about local places. It's only small but has got a bit of history plus some of the local wildlife
