If you like pictures, stories of how the North was opened this is for you. I spent 1.5 hrs prowling thru vintage pictures, old trucks, newspaper clipping etc. Smaller museum but well done up.

This focuses on the early transportation of the Yukon and is very interesting and informative. A must to visit for the mechanical buff or the dog lover.

at the yukon transportation museum: descriptive exhibits, excellent films -- several of them movie length!! you will come away with much knowledge of how intrepid adventurers explored the northern territory.

It was very interesting to be able to see all the older cars and trains that were used back in the day.
Some fantastic news articles and artifacts about the The 'Miracle' Survivors of a Yukon Air Crash who were found alive on March 25, 1963.
