“Best B&B - a place to feel at home”
Reviewed December 29, 2007

Farshid and Dell make the Midnight Sun B&B a warm welcoming place to stay. The breakfasts are delicious and they provide extras such as a tasty evening snack. I have returned several times now and have experienced the same top notch hospitality as the first time I stayed with them. The rooms are comfortable and clean with insuite bathrooms. When staying for any length of time, the upstairs kitchen and lounge makes one feel as though they are at home. The location is downtown with easy access to ay amenities one would want. Farshid and Dell are very knowledgeable about the sights to see while staying in the Yukon and aid travellers who are wondering where to start or what to do next. I highly recommend the Midnight Sun B&B for anyone staying in Whitehorse.

We stayed here for three nights, two at the beginning and one at the end of our visit to Yukon and NWT. The host was very kind, helpful, witty, and friendly to us, and the other travellers we met very interesting too. The accomodations were very clean and exactly like the website photos. Breakfast is a set time, but that ensures you can mingle briefly with other guests and hear their adventures and recommendations too.The location is handy, but residential, and convenient to walking all over town and even down to the rapids. We remember our time there very fondly. We were travelling with our 24 yr. old son. The airline lost/delayed our luggage but the host received all three bags at two different times (one delivered at 1 .m.) and was helpful in suggesting where to purchase things in the iterim.

If you like to be told on your vacation when you have to wake up and have breakfast, then it's the right place for you. The breakfast was o.k. , but the eggs were cold and we had to beg for milk and more coffee.
We didn't get the six month advanced booked room with two beds, instead a room with queen and a sofasleeper that we have to make up by our own.
As we stay only for one night, we were accused to trouble to much work. We were told like children, how to use the shower and reminded not to break anything.
We didn't feel welcome.

Farshid & Del do not miss a thing. Every effort is made to ensure the quest is well cared for in this wonderful downtown location B&B. Centrally located yet on a quiet street, only minutes from the bus exchange that can take you anywhere in Whitehorse. The rooms are large, super clean, with all the amenities. The day starts with superb breakfast and interesting conversation and just gets better. It is no wonder they win all these rewards. Best stay in Whitehorse, will be back.

We travel to Whitehorse frequently and usually stay at the Westmark which is OK but the prices keep going up.
This time we thought we'd try the Midnight Sun B&B because our friends had told us about it. When we stopped by to ask if they had vacancy, Farr and Dell, the owners, greeted us warmly and showed us the rooms - every one was immaculate and furnished so cozily it felt like home. Farr is like your long-lost uncle who will share his story of how he ended up in Whitehorse 24 years ago penniless and through hard work and the help of his friends has built a truly beautiful B&B near downtown.
It is conveniently located near restaurants, markets and the theater, but it was so quiet we slept in until nearly 9 thinking it was still early.
Dell fixed us a lovely breakfast of omelet, fresh fruit and toast with choice of beverages. The rooms are located upstairs and have their own lounge/living room with large TV (in addition to the one in the room). Attached is a full kitchen with washer and dryer. Ice cream and treats in the refridgerator made it feel like home - or more so.
Farr designed the B&B (he was a building contractor) and the design is fantastic - you'd never know anyone else is even in the building. It is only about 6 years old and feels really new. I can't enough good things about it, the rate was about $100 per night, but all the little extras make this a much better deal than any hotel or motel. We will definately stay here from now on - assuming it is not full, which happens in the summer.
