“Busy place!”
Reviewed October 12, 2009

This is a real busy and big coffee place with some really yummy baked treats. We tried the ginger orange muffin with our mochas and it was delicious! Bit of a longer wait for coffee than we're used to but the place was just packed when we were there. Lots of tables outside to sit though.

“Amazing food that's also good for you, sunny atmosphere, great people.”
Reviewed September 24, 2009

As a local, I love this cafe. The food is so delicious, and so healthy. Their scones are huge, only $3 each, and are available with all sorts of fruits and nuts, including whole wheat , blueberry, almond, raspberry, cranberry, pecan, and coconut. Sandwiches have interesting flavours like mango chicken, and the smoked salmon cream cheese bagel is so good.

I don't drink coffee, and they have great coffee alternatives, including red tea espresso which can be made into a tea latte. One of my favourite drinks is a red tea espresso latte with chai masala and cinnamon syrup.

And of course, they have great gelato!

There are comfortable couches to sit on, and a wooden play kitchen handmade by a local craftsperson for the kids. There are also lots of tables and chairs, but come early for lunch because it's hard to find a seat! This place is always busy, which gives it a great energy, especially when the sun is shining through the large windows.

The staff are friendly and service is quick.

My only complaint? I wish they were open later!
