Description: Established in 1979, this locally owned and operated restaurant is located in the heart of Saskatoon's downtown dining district. St. Tropez Bistro's quiet dining room is the perfect place to get away from it all. Our menu is inspired by the places we have travelled, and what we grow in our gardens.

A smaller more private restaurant, this one met my expectations at every level. The menu is short, but excellent. Our group of three ordered the filet which was very high quality and cooked perfect. We also enjoyed a couple of bottles of an Argentinian Melipal Malbec wine, which complimented the food we had ordered quite nicely. The waiter was very attentive and professional. We were the only people in the restaurant after 8:30 PM, yet the waiter also let us be until we decided to leave, rather than tell us they wanted to close early. Technically they were open until 10. Definitely going back, was worth the money for the service and overall quality of dining. Prices are fair but I would classify them as at the higher end - I think my Filet alone was $32. A couple should definitely budget $100 to go here for a supper with a drink or two.

I've lived in Saskatoon since 1992 - St. Tropez Bistro was serving great food when I arrived and it's still serving great food today. My first meal there was Tortiere. It must be their most popular dish because it is still on the menu! We hadn't eaten at St. Tropez for quite a while so decided to celebrate a landmark birthday there. There were six of us and there wasn't a single complaint about any aspect of the experience. I agree with the reviewer who says it is like Sunday dinner at home - but we all agreed that it was the best Sunday dinner ever!

We were in Saskatoon for the Jazz Festival and ate Friday night dinner at the St Tropez. We booked for an early meal and the restaurant was nice and quiet. The food could not have been better! Price wise, pretty good value for the money. The restaurant is fairly attractive. We walked from our hotel but, I felt, on a busy night parking might be an issue.

There isnt anything you cant make yourself here at home, the food is ordinary, the portion are small. Value for price is not great, you wont go home with a doggy bag or stuffed by anymeans, but the meal was pleasant. The wine is exorbitant.
