The best place in town to go for a nice dinner! Everything is good, however my preference is ALWAYS the ribs!!! Have had steak, Chicken, Ribs, Lamb, Lobster, Escargots, Chicken livers you name it! It does not matter what you have it will not disappoint you! That said the location does leave a little bit to be desired, and the decor could use a freshening up! The Restaurant is located in a motel that is on the seedy side of locations with a flophouse on one side and a nightclub on the other but do try and get past the location you won't be disappointed! The decor looks like something pulled out of a 1970's porno movie and you are just waiting for some cheesy lines to start before the action!!! lol!! But the food, Service, Atmosphere is second to none!

My wife and I went out for dinner before seeing a show, so we were dressed up for a special night. We'd heard that it's a terrific restaurant for a special romantic dinner.

Our server was quite personable and treated us like royalty (with some humour frequently thrown in). The other two servers seemed to be quite similar in style, so to me that's a sign of good management.

The food was great. My wife had lobster (which was better than I've had anywhere) and I had the filet & crab legs. The crab was great, but I wouldn't order the steak peppered, next time.

The main downside for this place is the location. It's in a very depressed, high-crime area of Saskatoon. Not to mention that you have to enter it via the lobby of a low-end motel. Once you're inside, it's nice. Or should I say, it was nice in the eighties. They've kept it up well considering how outdated everything appears to be.

Mr Rizo's is a long standing family favorite. There really is no better combination of great food and reasonable prices (for fine dining) in the city.

You have a romantic or important / celebratory night to celebrate? Go to Mr Rizo's - there is nothing better in Saskatoon in my opinion...

Make sure you try the Golden Hen They only have a few prepared each night and they go fast but it definitely one of their best dishes! Though if you take the last one on a night that I am there - I will have to hunt you down and dispense justice! Sorry but somethings are important! ;-)

We had a special occasion to celebrate and I went there in the morning to enquire about flower deliveries. As I walked in around 10am. I thought I had the wrong place,,, the place actually looked like any other coffee shop you would find in a motel.
When I came back at 6:30pm, I was blown away. The ambience was transformed into a top notch supper club.
There were nine in our party, including two children and we were treated as exclusive customers. Then the food started to be served.
I've been to many restaurants throughout my travels and would rate this small unassuming location as one of the top five. From the welcome we received, to the attention of the staff, to the quality of the of the food, we all found that this restaurant can easily stand above the rest.
If you're in Saskatoon looking for good food, you could easily miss this location since it's part of a motel that had once seen better days. Look hard though, there's only a small sign advertising the restaurant. Reserve ahead and be ready for a truly enjoyable evening.

Never have had a bad/average meal there. Everytime has been absolutely amazing!! I suggest the platter for two, exceptional deal and more than enough food always end up bringing some home. The wait staff is excellent, always ready to serve and really make sure that everything is top shelf. Highly recommended if you want a great meal everytime! Looks are definately deceiving in this case, located in a hotel on one of the busiest streets.
