“Not that great”

Really quite bad, dull menu and extremely poorly trained serving staff, our server had no idea what he was doing

“I like it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

This is a nice little addition to the west end non-existant restaurant scene. I love the atmosphere, I like the service, and the manager is always there asking how everything is and talking to customers. The food is consistantly good and the beer choices are great. Love going out for meals and this is one of my favorites on this side of town. Yes, the odd time the service is slower, but having worked in the food industry for 18 years, i am always understanding of servers who are busy and kitchens that are too. Good food takes time to prepare...be patient and have another beer!

“Nice open lounge space.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2014

Food was excellent and the Sub-Zero tap was super cold. The T-rex pizza was a spicy snack that helped kill a cold winter chill.

“First impressions”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014

This was my first time going to this restaurant. The place has a decent atmosphere and our server was great! Our glasses did not run empty and she was polite, courteous, and efficient. However, the food was pretty average and the portion sizes are on the small side. A heads up if you order caesar salad, it comes as a stack of romaine lettuce with a blob of dressing on top. Looks pretty, but it is annoying to have to cut up the salad yourself!

“go elsewhere”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

Looked good on the outside and we liked idea of it being locally owned so our expectations were high. But we were disappointed by almost every item ordered: roasted garlic appie was uncooked; kalimarai small amount; steak sandwich tough with greasy onions with skins on; meatloaf special was overcooked but roasted veggies good. Looks like they depend on the tap business because the food should be avoided. This experience left a bad impression of Saskatoon for us. The owners would do better to reduce the menu to a few items they can prepare well.
