“Great Evening Out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

6 of us were in Saskatoon for a week , we ate at many restaurants, Ufondue was the most unique and relaxing evening we had. It was also the cheapest by far, out of all the places we went for supper. The service wa excellent ( a Jamaican waiter name Daniel ) the food was better than avg. we sat for about 3 1/2 hours never feeling rushed , they brought up extra meats , veggies and fruit for us. It did get smoky for about 5 minutes , we have done the stonegrill many times at The grizzly House in Banff. Sometimes in the Grizzly house you can't see across your table , such is the nature of Stonegrill, but ufondues ventilation cleaned the air nicely, that was a bonus. Will definitely going back when we are in town next year.

“Fondue is really and experience, not a meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013

Very smart to have a fondue-themed restaurant, but as with doing fondue at home, it is a long, drawn out experience and unfortunately, I was hungry for something an hour later. However, good fondue offerings, a bit expensive...fondue-themed meal and fruit fondue for dessert with a bottle of wine was over $150 for three people. The restaurant environment is one of a kind in the city.

“A lovely evening, good service and basic fare”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2013

We enjoy fondue and had a lovely evening. (Thank you Groupon, for making it easier to sample new restaurants). The staff is very good -- our server was helpful, funny and a real addition to the evening. The ingredients struck us as very basic -- we may be wrong, but they seemed more store bought (ie. the sauces) than specially made. This is not a huge problem, as fondue is for talking and socializing, not fine dining.

“Love fondue!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

The food choices were great! My husband and I got the "Featured Evening Night Out" - four course meal for the both of us. We loved the choices for the cheese fondue (and were very happy with our selection) and chose to do the "hot rock" for our main course. As the name implies, you cook your own food on a hot rock they bring out for you - delicious! We choose the mocha chocolate for dessert (yum!). Staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the ceiling is an incredible piece of sculptured work. Only complaint was that the booths need to be upgraded (very little support).
