My husband and I recently had the pleasure of an extended stay at the Comfort Suites in Saskatoon. There isn't enough room here for me to write of the awesome experience I had during my stay. The feeling I had was that of being a member of a warm, caring family, the staff are amazing, always friendly and wishing me a great day as I left each morning for work.
All hotels should have such an amazing manager as Sally Ifill, she is just the most wonderful person we have met. Always very gracious, accommodating and going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
From lovely Sandra in the kitchen, Kristina and her staff in housekeeping, Maria and the staff on the front desk, and all the staff for the pool and exercise room, you couldn’t meet a nicer group of people. They are all awesome!
The hotel is very nice and the rooms are so comfortable and spacious. The hotel is within 10 minutes of the downtown core. If you want to have an enjoyable hotel experience in Saskatoon, we highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a little out of the way, and you can hear traffic going past on the hwy when your windows open but other than that it's a great hotel. Friendly staff, easy access rooms, parking lot stalls are of normal size so pick ups fit nicely.
The rooms are just great, and the bathroom has a fan in it... Something you don't see everyday. We will defiantly stay here again.

We stopped here on Aug 25. This was our first visit to Saskatoon just passing through on our way to Edmonton. We chose this hotel because of the previous reviews and because it was very conveniently located off the Yellowhead highway.

I hadn't previously booked it but it wasn't very busy so I talked the front desk clerk down to $20 cheaper than he first quoted me which was nice. It was likely to the price if I had online booked it earlier.

The room surpassed our expectations! It was quite large, included a separate couch area with a big desk for our laptop. The wifi was fast and efficient even with 2 laptops and a android tablet on the go.

We took advantage of the pool and had a relaxing swim and hot tub.

Breakfast the next morning was tasty and filling. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.

This is a new hotel opened in early 2013 and just 1 km. west of Saskatoon on Yellowhead Hwy #16 (going west to North Battleford). (not to be confused with the Comfort Inn on Northridge Drive, Saskatoon).
This new hotel is located on the north side of Hwy 16 between the Credit Union Centre (arena) and a Husky truck stop. Take the road to the Husky station off of Hwy 16 and then turn right at the Motel 6--only about 1 block. We initially were concerned about the trucks making noise but there was absolutely no problem. We chose a room on the east side, facing the arena rather than the truck stop. The hotel is new, quiet, modern and very clean with a pool, waterslide, exercise room, and includes a hot breakfast area. The staff were friendly and service was great.
Very highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the East side of the hotel facing the arena parking lot. King bed with a pull out...

It was so nice to get to Saskatoon and have such a nice place to stay. Our suite had two queen size beds and a pull out couch. There was lots of rooms to move around the room despite all our luggage - we were four! The staff was friendly and the everything was new and very clean. In the evening we went down to the pool and enjoyed the hot tub while the kids enjoyed the water slide. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown just off the Yellowhead highway. It was easy to get back on the road next morning. The free breakfast was impressive! Sausage, eggs, Belguim waffles and so on. We will stay here again!

The hotel is new and well decorated. The rooms are stylish and well appointed, much like a higher end hotel.

The staff members were pleasant and helpful. That said, this is the new style of hotel - very few hotel workers on site at any time.

The pool is very nice and has reasonable hours, and the waterslide is a nice touch albeit with less reasonable hours. There is an exercise room and mini-business centre too.

The free breakfast is just ok; exactly the same as a Marriott Springhill Suites or a Days Inn. Do-it-yourself waffles, microwaved eggs and sausage, etc.

If you are going to the airport, Credit Union Centre or industrial park, this is a conveniently located hotel. Otherwise, it is out of the way.

Dear AceChucker - thank you for taking the time to post your review here. It certainly is the place where many travelers looks first before booking so we welcome more and more responses! Limited service properties do tend to have less staff and our hotel has approximately 30 team members for our 84 rooms - so perhaps some of us were hiding!

Dont be a stranger though - come back soon!

Was quite disappointed that the waterside was closed at 8pm even though the pool was open until 10pm. There was 15 plus kids in the pool at 8:30pm pretending to go down the waterside. One of the main reasons we stayed here was because of the waterside.there is no good reason to close the waterside when the pool is opened. Maybe next time I will save a few dollars and stay at a hotel without one as we didn't get to enjoy this one anyways. The hotel really needs to correct this.

Hello Part-TimeTraveller-SK,
Thank you for taking the time to share your review here and I am so sorry to hear of your disappointment. On January 1st of this year, Saskatchewan introduced a new regulation whereby the wateslide must be manned at all times when opened. We felt that the hours we operated the waterslide during the months of July and August were conducive to most of our guests and I do apologize that they did not meet your satisfaction. With our pool being open from 8am to 10pm daily, we introduced a "Quiet Time" for the first hour and last hour each day so that our travelers without children, could enjoy a more relaxing and less noisy/splashful time - hence the waterslide closing at 9pm each night! Being our first yeart of business this has been a learning experience for all of us and I will certainly take your feedback on board as we go forward.

Thank you once again for such honest feedback
