Pizza is delicious and tasted like authentic Italian! So many options for Italian food! Great selection of salads, paninis, and pizza. Can sit outdoors or inside. Great little place on Broadway for a quick stop and eat, or enjoy yourself outside on a nice summer day :)

“Good but nothing grabbing me to come back.”
Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

Overall a nice experience, but there was nothing exciting about my experience.

Coffee is good and the veg panini I had was good. Not the best place for value, however more of an experience place on Broadway.

Service was average, the person that took my order neglected to tell me how the order callout/ number system worked. I found this verry confusing. Coffee came out first and then my food. One was called by number and the other I just had to hang out and wait for. Could probably tighten up this process.

“just hype?”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

Our granddaughter chose this place when we gave her the gift of dinner at the Saskatoon restaurant of her choice. We shared a pizza: half just cheese and tomato sauce for her and Pizza Margherita for us. After all the online hype on review sites, we were so disappointed. The outer edge of the crust was over an inch wide, just crust with no fillings … it was dry like a cracker, but may still have been the best part of the pizza. The center of the crust was extremely thin, limp and soggy. It was difficult, probably impossible, to eat it without a fork. There was nothing special about the tomato sauce or seasonings. So this soggy tasteless pizza cost us almost $20. There was not much to the pizza so it could easily have been eaten by one person … but only if you can afford to buy one for each of you.
The only good thing I can say about this experience was that the cashier was friendly. I had read reviews on another site that said there was an unpleasant woman behind the counter giving customers a hard time.

This restaurant has very limited hours. It seems peculiar that it would be open so little when it is right in the heart of the university district.

“Bread, and more”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

The Muzzolini family has run a bakery in Saskatoon for decades. Il Secundo is a lovely little place who's main raison d'etre is to sell the Bread that Tracy and her brother bake at their other location. They do this exceptionally well. The bread -all of it - is simply outstanding. The other side of Il Secundo is making and serving artisan pizzas cooked in their wood-fired oven. Its great.. absolutely wonderful. The lines out the door - even on frosty Saturday mornings - attest to the title of best bread in town. The cafe scene for the young and hip is vibrant.
