I normally would not choose to stay at a Ramada as it isn't in my hotel reward programs but due to my choices being sold out I selected the Ramada Saskatoon. I was pleased to find that hotel was newly renovated and my room was quite pleasant with a nice comfortable bed and large flat screen TV. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower hot (important this time of year). The thermostat worked well too.

The location is too far to walk to Central Business District this time of year so plan on taking a taxi if you don't have a rental car. Otherwise, this is a good choice for business travel.

This location has recently under gone a face lift and as such looks amazing. Our room featured a new bed and new TV. Or room also featured an incredibly loud, inconsistent heater unit, and a shower that would go from skalding hot to ice cold at the drop of a hat. Staying here you will also have to pay for any kind of breakfast as there is NO continental breakfast offered. And even a quick begal will set you back 2.50. There is of course a restaurant in the hotel lobby so you can pay for breakfast. The Saturday we were here there was a breakfast buffet on for 11.99$ that included eggs, sausage, hash towns, waffels, toast, cereal, fruit cocktail and juice. We skipped the buffet and ordered off the menu, my wife had a traditional breakfast with 2 eggs, bacon hashbrowns and toast, (10.99) and I had the breakfast wrap (9). My wife's breakfast was good except for the scrambled eggs which looked like they were prepared long before we ordered breakfast. My wrap good but had too much onion for my taste. The service was terrible from our server, we had to practically chase her down to order. Parking is a nightmare in the winter time as the hotel is built on a hill so all the out front parking is on an extreme slope. Hold on to children and the elderly as they might go for a ride. The parking is also fairly limited with a bulk of it being offered around the back side of the building by the golf dome. This would be OK if there was a way to access the hotel from back there but there isn't, and in the winter time its a bit of a trek to get to the front door. Overall I'd say for 134$ a night this Ramada was a let down, had I known there was no continental breakfast I would have booked at the holiday inn down the street for 5$ more a night. At most this is a 1.5 star hotel just because the room was really nice.
