Thursday nights get loud if your room is on the north side and doesnt matter if you are on the top floor. Lobby and hallways are renovated but my room was not.

Great place to stay. The exterior renovations cause a bit of an issue with access to the front door on occasion, however once they are done, it will be really nice.

I find Saskatoon oddly pricey, so was glad to get this hotel as part of a conference I was attending. Here is what you have to know: Park in front of the hotel, not in the back where the Golf Dome is. If you make a mistake (like I did) and end up in the back, just drive around the golf dome until you get to the front. They have an extra parking lot right across the street from the front of the hotel so there is loads of space in front. There is a bar back there, but the clientele I saw going in didn't look scary and were actually pretty friendly and helpful when I found out you can't get to the hotel at all that way because they lock the back entrance way for extra security. It's a country bar/saloon so probably a lot of fun if you can two-step. The staff were very helpful even though they were really busy and many things were working against them, like a computer system that freezes up when they need to check people in. They managed their challenges well. I was on the top floor, so nice and quiet and no reno noise. The rooms on that floor are updated (not fully renovated), impeccably clean and cozy. They give a lot of little thoughtful extras like herbal tea and specialty coffees and bathroom goodies include mouthwash and a disposable makeup remover wipe. Little things that say "we are trying harder than average". This isn't situated in the luxury area of town, but it's not at all far from some very nice downtown shopping areas and it's easy to follow the main roads from here to pretty much anywhere you need to get to. The conference rooms were nicely organized and the catering was tasty and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Top floor for quiet and south facing for a view of downtown lights at night.
