This occupies a site with a small canyon on the endless prairie that has been popular for 6,000 years. It includes Indian wintering grounds, two buffalo jumps, a medicine wheel, plus a nice display and 15-minute film.
Not easy to find. Follow the brown buffalo signs or take 2nd Street north (becomes Warman Road) to Penner. North 52 degrees 13.365 minutes, West 106 degrees 35.457 minutes.
There are several guided hands-on experiences. For instance, you can help build a tipi,and learn that it entails a lot more than just stacking poles.
