“Breakfast at the Park Cafe”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Firstly don't let the run down look of the place scare you away...it may be very busy and noisy but worth the wait to get a table or eat at the counter....wait staff are excellent ....the food well made and tastes great

“Breakfast!”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Quant little cafe. Serves a great breakfast for a good price. Four of us were fed with home made food. All served on a hot plate. Great presentation. Simple & tastey!

“Neighborhood Cafe is a hit!”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

Met with friends for breakfast. Arrived at 9:30 and the cafe was full. And believe me, you don't leave hungry. Check out the selection of pies - they ALL look great. Fabulous photos on walls of Saskatoon and 20th Street from days of old. A fun place to go, service is great, staff so friendly.

“Our own personal dodgy "drive dive and diner"!”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

Yeah Saskatoon has arrived!! I have longingly looked at the Food program "Drives Dives and Diners". Now we have our own. Decadent Cheese lovers (battered AND crumbed) sandwich. Home made, fresh, divine and over the top. No airs, just satisfying good food made by people like us. Home made pies!
Burgers was average but the soup GREAT.
When can we expect to have Saskatchewan understand and interpret a toasted sandwich NOT as filling between to pieces of toast?
The restaurant being on the wrong side of the tracks is of course exactly the right place for it to be.
Service was great, relaxed but took our request seriously, and again, the soup was really nice.

“Nice neighborhood diner, recommended.”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

Good stuff, just what you'd expect of a GOOD neighborhood diner. I had breakfast here today, it's popular, animated and the selection and variety on the breakfast menu is great. I had pancakes, a tad overcooked but still great. Although it is busy here, there's counter seating, I chose to eat at the counter so as to not take up a table by myself but others started at the counter and as tables became available the staff moved them to a table, which I think is a great way to not make folks wait.
