Siam is an authentic Thai restaurant in Regina that opened in Spring of 2007. I have had the pleasure of dining there for lunch many times and have yet to be even close to disappointed in the quality of food or service. At lunch one can dive into the aromatic and tasty buffet for a very reasonable 8$ price tag. There are typically 6-8 main dishes to choose from along with a tasty Tom Yum soup and extra accompaniments like cabbage, sprouts, noodles, hot peppers and pickles to add to dishes as you wish. Don't forget the rotating selection of unique and tasty desserts as well.
The decor lands somewhere near the fine dinning zone, but is not pretentious, just simple and elegant and the staff are warm and inviting. make reservations at lunch so as not to be disappointed. Try not to over eat- as the corn fritters are divine and the Pad Thai is some of the best I have ever had. Lots of decent veggie options, including two of my faves just mentioned. Love, love, love this place. The Tom Yum soup would make anyone weak in the knees. I have yet to go there for dinner, but their menu is quite diverse and has very reasonable prices.
