Otherwise it's a good restaurant. The premises are a little run down. I went with a group of ladies who loved the place. I refused to go after my first meal there. Service was good.

Excellent atmosphere. Food was poor/average, obviously some was microwaved, as it was stuck to the plate. Food quality dropped since it opened at the new location. Equally as disappointing food as the Western Pizza across the street.

This place is way better now that it is in a new location. Atmosphere is nice, service is great and food is always consistent. Been many times since this location near Giant Tiger opened.

We always liked going for breakfast on Sunday at the old location, so we decided to try the new place this past Sunday.

I have to say we were disappointed. There was only one person seating people and running the cash register. We stood around waiting while a whole lineup of people paid their bills. Then, we waited again for someone to come with coffee and menus. We waited again for them to come take our order. The, we waited half an hour to get the breakfast special. It was cold, our 'medium' poached eggs were hard as rocks and they got one order wrong and brought bacon instead of sausage.

It's definitely a nicer, newer decor, but I would rather have fast service and properly cooked hot food, like it used to be. All in all a disappointing outing. We will not be returning for Sunday breakfast.

Our party was made up of six adults for an evening meal. We appreciated the semi private area of the restaurant as suggested by a congenial hostess. We were waited on quickly after all our party was seated. Our orders included soup, salads and entrées varying from liver and veal from the seniors menu to combinations of steak, shrimp, chicken and ribs, as well as salmon. Each meal was received on a timely basis, simply delicious and hot. The portions are large and good value for money. In each case, the entrée was received as requested. We were particularly impressed with the size and quality of the shrimp and the flavor of each meal. The service was great – attended to by two waitresses – never an empty water glass; quickly produced the requested condiments.

Our only suggestion for improvement is the presentation of the garden salads. Some additional colored vegetables would have made a more pleasing dish. The ingredients were fresh.

We are unable to comment on the liquor or desserts as these were not part of our evening.

This restaurant lacks a large clientele. The ambience is what one would expect for a family restaurant. The limited number of patrons in the large open areas detracts from the atmosphere.
