This museum is very educational and is a great place to go with your family. I really enjoyed the exibits with the animals how they were all posed to look very life like.

“Amazing displays”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This museum is so well done. You could spend hours in there just wandering, looking and reading the information in the displays. The artwork and placement of the displays are top notch!

“Royal Saskatchewan Museum”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Live very close. Good venue for those interested in natural history. Great for young kids. Teenagers would get very bored very quickly. They do have special events and do add things on a regular basis.

“This should keep you occupied for at least an hour”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

The Royal Saskatchewan Museum provides a comprehensive view of the province's natural history and its inhabitants. The section on geology and land formation, ice ages and so forth, are very well done and captivate even someone who isn't particularly interested in the subject. The section on animals, both prehistoric and present, is life-like and instructive. The visitor also gets a good look at the life and culture of First Nations that inhabit the province.

There is no entrance fee but visitors are encouraged to make a contribution. I of course put my money in the box and felt that the visit was well worth it.

I have a weakness for museum shops and did some shopping here as well.

“Awesome!”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

We loved the displays upstairs but did not have time to explore the main floor. We would definitely return to see the areas we missed.
