Casino Regina is small..ish but has everything you need. There are plenty of slots in all denominations, table games, a reasonable restaurant, snack bar, lots of attendants, a great Sunday brunch and reasonable range of talent brought into the show lounge. There is plenty of parking on two surface lots and a parkade. The casino has play and stay arrangement with many hotels and shuttles from the hotels to the casino.

When I go to the Casino, I usually go for the food, but I know others who go to gamble, and I understand it can be a lot of fun, if you are into that sort of entertainment. Poker tournaments, horse racing, black jack, craps and baccarat are all going all the time, as well as hundreds of slot machines.

The building itself was converted from the old passenger train station, and many of the elements of the old station are still there and are very interesting to see - note the huge, original clock in the main entrance. The inside stretches over two city blocks long, so be prepared to walk a ways.

I have attended several concerts in the Show Lounge at the far west end of the casino, and it is very well laid out. I've never had a problem viewing the stage. Also, a buffet brunch is served in the Show Lounge every Sunday, and is a good deal if you use your players card. Player's cards are free, and you don't have to use them to gamble if you don't want to.

The restaurant at the opposite end of the casino serves good, hot food at reasonable prices, and there are specials you can take advantage of with your player's card as well. And, if you are lucky, sometimes you will be seated in the onsite dining car, which is part of the restaurant. (That is most likely to happen if you have a reservation or they are very busy.)

Parking out front is limited, but there is a huge parkade accessed via a walkway over the street below with lots of extra, covered parking. There is also a covered skywalk, accessible from the indoor mall and the hotel and parkade across the street.

An enjoyable way for adults only to enjoy an evening out.

We've been to many shows in the Casino show lounge and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to see a show. We have always had a good seat and have tried different areas of the lounge to compare seats and views of the show. Buying tickets in person lets you see the lounge map and save on handling fee vs buying on line (fee really isn't that much if you can't go in person).

I had hours and hours of play time, and came out with the same money I came in with. Lots of machines, although they could use some new ones.

This casino, located in the old train station in Regina is really due for an uplift, and some renos. The place is cut up into "compartments", with slot machines in various "areas' or rooms. Not much continuity and a lot of walking around to find your favourite games, whether its cards or machines. The "Theatre" where we saw George Benson is an array of cafeteria styled tables and chairs, and has no ambiance.
The Casino is centrally located, so if you are downtown, its an easy find. There are no "great' restaurants in the Casino to speak of, and I found that the staff at the cashier counter were unfriendly and made you feel that they were doing you a favour. This city needs a great casino, located in a newer building, which shows well and looks contemporary. This casino has none of this and looks like it was cobbled together to suit the old building space it is in.
Its not a place you want to spend all day or even all evening.
