Delta Hotels by Marriott Regina
Ranked #10 of 33 Hotels in Regina

We flew into Regina and spent one night at the Delta before driving our of town to a wedding. We paid a little extra and stayed in the Signature King Club room. We were given a wonderful room on the top floor. The bed was roomy, the bathroom average in size and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet - the only noise we heard was when someone was buying a soft drink from the drink machine. Underground parking was $17 for the night but you are in downtown Regina. Our room rate included a full breakfast in the Indigo dining room on the main floor. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi which is a plus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Splurge and book a signature club room

Stayed the labour day long weekend. Went to the football game then promised he kids they could go water sliding after dinner. The waterside was shut off and there was no staff in the pool area. The front desk said it is policy that they shut down Sunday evenings - this is a long weekend. We paid well over $215/night plus parking and breakfast and no refrigerator in room. Will never stay again!

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. My apologies the slide was not working later in the evening on Sunday. As a general practice the slide is closed at 8:00 pm on Sunday and we completely missed extending the hours for the Big Weekend. In order to operate the slide a certified Lifeguard needs to be on duty and we were not able to schedule one for the additional hours at the last minute. My apologies again and a scheduling reminder has been added for all future long weekends!

We have family in the Regina area so booked into the Delta for our five day visit there. We booked a suite so that our niece and nephew could stay with us for a night; when we requested a cot we were told that the room was meant for only two people which we thought was odd since it's obviously a family hotel with the pools and waterslides, but they allowed us to have them there with us the one night. The rooms were nice and very clean, the cleaning staff were excellent, front desk staff were great, and there was a really good restaurant off the main lobby (we only had breakfast there, had buffet and menu options). Free wifi which was awesome, so great to not be nickled and dimed. We had rented a Suburban SUV and the underground parking was tight, but we fit. The driveway in and out of the parking garage was tough to negotiate. Hotel is attached to the mall and near lots of restaurants and shops. We went to the pool/waterslides with our niece and nephew on a Saturday afternoon, which is a terrific set up (slide goes into a separate pool, another proper swimming pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub), but there was no lifeguard at the top of the slide which worried me, and the lifeguards on the main level were not very attentive. I felt like I had to follow the kids everywhere they went, and wasn't happy when a couple of other kids stayed in the slide pool playing when the other kids were coming down the slide - they were not told to leave that pool for safety by the lifeguards, thankfully their parents were nearby and told them. Thankfully there were no mishaps, but that was my main concern. Overall, a great hotel for families, just make sure when you book a room that you're allowed to bring your children.

Service was excellent but the property is old. The rooms and beds were good and the place was clean.

Good location but very tight underground parking. Breakfast was good and all of the staff very friendly.

Rooms were quite costly I think you can do better in a newer property.

We arrived early and our room was ready which was excellent. We ventured out shopping to return to our room and have bottle water and chocolates in the room. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary so we headed out for the evening. Upon arriving back at the hotel there was a bottle of sparkling water and chocolate covered strawberries as well as a card in our room from the front staff desk. The service was all excellent right from check in to room service to the door man to check out. The room was beautiful and quiet.

We checked in just after 1:00 pm (it was wonderful that our room was ready!). From the doorman, to the front desk staff, to the restaurant, everyone was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was closed, staff there managed to get us in for some lunch. Ever so grateful for that. The baked cheese and mushroom soup was heaven. The chef is superb. Her daughter waited on us, and she was very thoughtful and attentive. Bed was very comfortable, and being up on the 23rd floor, we didn't hear any street noises. Casino right across the road, unfortunately didn't have the time to win big money! When we come back to Regina, we will definitely consider staying there again.

Room Tip: you can choose to park underground (which I think is more secure), or across the street in an above...

It's been a while since I've stayed at a hotel where there is mould and grime in the bathroom tiles. It felt dingy which is surprising since it's a Delta. I would opt for other hotels when next travelling to the city.
