Wascana Park, home of the Saskatchewan Legislature is a wonderful place for families, outdoors folks, Joggers, dogs...in other words, everyone.
The Park also has the Royal Sask Museum, Science Center and the Conexus Center of the Arts. There is an outdoors pool on the north side and behind the Museum is an open area that hosts Music and Festivals all summer long.Wascana Lake has a marina, there is a great restaurant, the Willows there too. All in all it's just a great place to spend leisure time

Lake, trees and wildlife with seasonal floral gardens. Quiet walks or jogging and beautiful sunsets in the Land of the Living Skies

Everytime I come to Regina I head down to the park to run around the lake, except in the dead of winter. You get a very positive outlook on the city. It's well kept trails and landscaping, quiet off street atmosphere and calm lake make for a very peaceful place to relax. Lots of people come here to run, walk and relax so I always get the feeling I'm around like minded people. A few more reciprocal smiles and waves would be nice, but otherwise a pretty communal atmosphere. I will keep coming back here whenever I visit.

A wonderful setting to go for a walk. Along the way you may want to stop at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building or maybe stop for a coffee or a meal at one of the near by cafes or restaurants. Enjoyable no matter what season.

This beautiful park in the center of Regina is an urban escape if you're wanting a relaxing walk, a barbeque, or perhaps canoe on the largest man-made lake in Canada. It is truly a gorgeous spot and is a must see when in Regina. If you visit during the day, you can also visit the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the Saskatchewan Legislature Buildings. There are great walking paths and is one of everyone's favorite past times ... "want to go for a walk around the lake?" can be heard summer, fall, winter and spring! Enjoy this extraordinary park!
