This Hotel was beyond of my expectation. I must say that I do pay attention to a clean place. whoever served in that floor (or hotel) was very neat person. Extreemly clean and organized. The heating system was great. The washroom was very clean and neat, all the towels white crisp. No noise and excellent bed and clean bedsheets, and no smell pillows. Great cusromer service
The breakfast was good and on time.

Can"t find find a better hotel right on Regina down town.
Thanks Holiday Inn

Room Tip: Great hotel for more then the money that you can pay!!!!

First time we have been here. The check in and out was very friendly, took little time and very efficient. The room was set up so a child could be put to bed in the bedroom on one end of the room so the living area with a table and chairs, hide a bed and other very beautiful furniture set up so TV could be used or a small light for reading and not keep children awake too long.
The breakfast had quite a complement of items to suit any appetite and set up to be valued by those in a rush or those who could have a leisurly breakfast.

I was very impressed and certainly will choose the next time we have another swim competition as it is very close to the Regina Acquatic Center.
A!

I was checked in and out by very friendly and efficient staff, and my room was clean and nicely furnished. The temperature was ideal, too, and the hotel was quiet during the evening hours. The breakfast was on par with other Holiday Inns, and there was a free newspaper. Also managed to find a spot in the hotel's parking lot. A very good experience, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

we did the cornwall shopping centre then checked in - lousy parking for only 40 cars so you are told to go to the public parkade around the corner and down the lane - and pay 14 bucks there - or park in city parking lot accross street but move your car by 6 am or get towed...rooms were standard for a holiday inn - Breakfast nook complimentary was the highlite of our stay with the Hostess named ROBIN as being very helpful - offerred info on regina and surrounding areas - offered great freindly service in the Am at the complimentary breakfast - but other than that I would have gladly stayed on any Victoria street Hotel rather than that POOR parking location - bought a swim suit for the pool too - but there was NO pool - like we were misled to believe there was...when we checked in over the phone..buyer beware -
I wouldnt recomend this place unless you were placed there on company business and didnt have anything to do after work - no restaurant - no bar - no entertainment - no pool - only cable tv - felt closed in -

Room Tip: dont look for the pool -

Our first time staying here, both going to Winnipeg and on our return trip driving home we used this hotel as it is the only "dog friendly" Holiday Inn in Regina. It's located downtown, very easy to find. Only drawback was they charge for parking which we've never encountered at any other Holiday Inn property. Used to be the old Drake Hotel and is now part of the Holiday Inn chain. Huge corridors which twist and turn, in the manner of old hotel construction, but the rooms are totally refurbished to new Holiday Inn branding standards. Good breakfast room with complimentary breakfast which was served warm and very fresh. Will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites from Nov 28 to Dec 2 for a conference and enjoyed my week in Regina:

1. Check-in: Fast - our employer had booked a block of rooms and the keys were ready to go upon check-in;

2. Room: I was in a larger room on the 5th floor (503) that had a fridge and microwave which I found out are not available in all the rooms so the upgrade was a lovely surprise. The room was large and had a table, a desk, flat screen tv, the "bar" area with a fridge, microwave and coffee pot, and a queen bed. The bed was firm but comfy and there was an assortment of pillows so I could use as many as required. The room itself was clean and in good repair;

3. Housekeeping: Excellent! Everything clean and restocked each day and anyone that I passed in the hallway was friendly;

4. Staff: Didn't catch everyone's name but Bronwyn on the front desk was a great resource when we had questions about the amenities that were available in the neighbourhood;

5. Breakfast: The same breakfast that's available at other Holiday Inn Express hotels; however, the food itself seemed to be better quality (fresh warm cinnamon buns, bananas restocked every day, decent egg/bacon options, yogurt, cereals,etc). There was also an awesome-looking pancake maker which I didn't use but others did enjoy. Coffee & tea seemed to be available all day even after breakfast ended.

6. Location: Within walking distance of the downtown shopping centre plus a good selection of restaurants and pubs.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We live in Yorkton sk about 2 hours from Regina and when we go to Regina to fly somewhere we always try to stay at this holiday inn because the service is fabulous. They always try to give us a room we like and often we get an upgrade free.
It is an old hotel but has a great location downtown and is still only minutes from the airport.
They will arrange a cab to the airport and one time when the cab was late the night manager was going to drive us himself.

Room Tip: A room with 2 queen beds is usually very large but the queen suite has a separate bedroom.
