Booking form not suitable for our question, and my email enquiry via contact form has gone unanswered for several days. I'd perhaps be interested in staying... but their digital processes seem more than a bit broken. This review needs to be at least 200 characters so I'm writing more.

This is a nice, new hotel and the value is comparatively good with other Regina hotels. We found it quiet and the counter staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast bar was sparse. Very close to shopping and restaurants. This is another quickly built box with a hotel inside, however. Do not expect to find character or high quality furnishings. Build quality is poor. Because of the booming economy in Sask., be prepared to pay higher prices for everything, especially hotels. This is a solid 3 star hotel that rates as a 4 in Regina (4 star price). We could not find a proper or decent 4 or 5 star hotel.

I booked this hotel for a group of 20 people and I could not have been happier with the service before and during our three day stay. Bianca was most accommodating and saved the day when last minute participants joined the group and needed a room. The complimentary upgrade to a suite on the fourth floor made my stay especially nice, with plenty of room to spread out and do work. The front staff were very friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping staff were personable and did a great job. The hotel is very clean, quiet and well cared for. The complimentary breakfast was good and I think the coffee was great. This lounge area is also very relaxing and a nice place for small groups to gather in the evening. The hotel's east side location puts it in the heart of the best eating places in Regina, and a short drive to shopping.

Our first experience in June was excellent so we booked again in September when we had to be in Regina again. Complimentary upgrade to a suite made us wish we could stay longer. Clean, everything you could need and great friendly staff and breakfast included! Looking forward to our next visit.

We routinely choose to stay only in suites/apartment style hotel rooms. It was a close call to decide between a 4 or a 5 for this hotel. This hotel could not compete with some of the cut-throat markets (i.e. Canmore or Las Vegas), but I think compared to its competitors in Regina, it rates 5/5, although it is neither perfect, nor excellent.

What they do very well:
- They are honest. When we checked-in, the clerk was very straighforward in advising us that the kitchen is only lightly equipped and the TV channels are limited. It is annoying when hotels are econonical with the truth about their properties, and so it was refreshing so see a hotel that was upfront about what they did and did not offer.
-They were warm and generous and the staff were really lovely. The check-in and check-out staff ensured that we were given a very competetive rate, and they spontaneously offered to do so without us even asking. Despite our late check-in, they also ensured that we were given cookies and fresh coffee when we arrived. The staff also asked us to provide a Trip Advisor rating, which I really respect, since it demonstrated that they understand the importance of these ratings.
- They do not price-gouge. We were in Regina last year at the same time as the Labour Day Classic and were absolutely gouged ($300+ for one night!) by the Sandman down the road. Even though it was clear that many of the guests were in the hotel this year for another football game, the nightly rate was very reasonable.
- They have a very modern and pretty lobby and a crisp-looking dining area for breakfast. The vibe is a mix of chic sophistication but small-city warmth and charm.
- The rooms were very quiet, in spite of the fact that the parking lot full of working-trucks suggested to us that the property is frequented by labourers. I assumed that they were in bed earlier than we were, and gone before we were even awake in the morning.
- They offer apartment style rooms, which I gather is unusual in Regina. The frozen food for sale in the lobby might seem odd based on other reviews that I have read for this property, but I thought it was a thoughtful option for late arriving guests or people who just couldn't get to the grocery store. The lolipops on the pillows were a cute touch.
- they have large flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom.

What they could do to earn an honest 5/5 compared to even some of the more competetive markets:
- they need to supply more than one serving of coffee supplies to go with their Keurig coffee maker. They knew there were two of us in the room, yet we got only one package of sweetener, for example.
- they need to upgrade the supplies in the kitchen. One pot and one pan, for example, is not really enough to actually use the kitchen. There was a set of at least 4-dishes, but there were not enough pots to cook for 4-people.
- they need to upgrade the appliances to stainless steel.
- they need to have a dishwasher in the kitchen
- they need more hangers in the closet
- they should consider adding more touches of Saskatchewan (for example, many of the hotels in Canmore feature local art and photos on the walls). There was a book of Saskatchwan photos, which was nice, but making the suite appear to be a bit more like home would take it to the next level.
- they could add a gaming console and DVD player in each room, and then make a selection of movies and games available at the front desk. This is an increasingly common trend that we have noticed in suite-style hotels. It is a surprisingly important touch for both kids and adults alike!
- they need more mirrors than just those found in the bathroom. Your female guests will thank you for this.

We would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future, assuming the Trip Advisor ratings remain strong.

Room Tip: We could hear car doors slamming in the parking lot from our second floor room.

Thank you for sharing your comments on your stay with us. I was so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We understand that our guests look for clean rooms and great service, and we do our best to exceed those expectations! I will be sure to pass them along.

In regards to your recommendations, we strive to make our guest’s stay as comfortable as possible. Our suites are equipped with the standard amount of dishes and utensils based on the estimated number of guests. However, if you require additional items, extra coffee or pots please call the front desk at any time and we would be more than happy to assist you. I will definitely look into the option of a DVD players or gaming console and more mirrors. Currently, we are in the process of upgrading our artwork of photos taken in Regina, much like our sister hotel in Swift Current. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us. Feedback such as yours assists us in improving our service and property on a daily basis.

Thanks again, we hope to see you soon!

The hotel is nice. But it's a little schizophrenic. The location is way out in the eastern end, along with all the big boxes, but it has a kind of urban kind of feel to the design. The lobby is nice, but the rooms are a bit strange in that it's half cheap housekeeping unit, and half kind of chic hotel. That's all dressing however, as the rate is reasonable, the beds comfortable. Only not great part is that the shower curtain is cheap, and doesn't really work, putting water all over the floor. Oh, did I mention schizophrenic -- because with the $1.99 shower curtain is a lovely granite countertop.
