I stayed for 7 days, and have stayed here for 5 days on a previous trip. rooms are large, showers good and hot, modern flat screen TV's.

my room had a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Superb when your in once place for a few days.

Breakfast is very quick and self service.

Not much character, but clean and functional.

As a frequent traveler, I don't expect too much other than basic accomodations when I book at a HI Express. Certainly, this was our mindset when we stayed here, as this was just a one night stay as we stopped in Regina on our way to visit familu. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of quality we found at this HI Express.

The 4th floor/two queen bed room we were assigned was roomy and clean, especially the bathroom. The bedding looked to be of very good quality, and the beds were very firm and comfortable. There was a good sized desk to work on, a nice 32" LCD television with a great channel selection, and a good sized mini-fridge. My wife commented that with the exception of the bathroom, the quality of the furnishings made her think we were staying in a Westin hotel.

Seeing as how we arrived at about 10 pm and checked out at 9 the next morning, I am not in a position to comment on the pool or fitness facilities, However, the hotel looks to be a in a very good location, with a supermarket across the street, a Keg Restaurant and Tim Hortons in the same parking lot, and lots of other choices for food along Albert Street. The hotel is just 2 km off the Transcanada Highway, so acessing the road in and out fo town is no issue. The continental breakfast looked good, although I just went in to grab some yogurt and coffee.

Regina is a city that I have no interest in visiting, so I can't say anything about the location in terms of the convenience of getting around Regina. But for someone who used Regina as a pit stop of sorts, this was a great place to overnight in.

The staff here have always been very nice & helpful. The rooms are always clean. I get the cost reimbursed by my job, but if I was traveling on my own money, I probably would shy away from the price. Although, I'm pretty cheap....

The only complaint I ever have about this hotel is the parking lot. It's tiny! And many parking stalls are not very close to the front doors. Also, this area of Regina is not exactly scenic....

Other than that, I do enjoy staying here.

My husband and I, with our 2 teens stayed here while in town for high school grad June 25-28, 2010. The location was excellent, off the main street of Albert but easily seen and accessed. It is in the south end of Albert, closer to the TransCanada Hwy. It is between 2 malls - the Southland and Golden Mile; each have movie theatres there. There is an abundance of places to eat within walking distance (Subway, Tim Horton, The Keg, Brewsters, DQ, Johnny Fox's, Tony Roma, Earls...) and a 7-11 for any late night needs!

The hotel is relatively new, so everything is spic and span and not at all worn out. The morning breakfast is standard for HI Express, and the pool and workout room were standard and easy to use. There was a business center, though 1 of the 2 computers was down during our entire stay. The rooms are a good size with very comfortable beds and pillows. The flat screen tv was nice but they had taken out all the bar fridges from the rooms and that would have been nice to have - certainly not a deal breaker here. Everything was clean, nice smelling and in good working order. What was so very noticeable and appreciated was the service we received from each and every staff member --- from the housekeeping staff (extra towels!) to the breakfast folks (chatted about the World Cup!) to the front desk ladies and gents; a shirt was left in the room when we checked out and before we pulled out of the parking lot, the gal from the front desk came running out to tell us they had found it!! From the room gal to the front desk, they went above and beyond what many would have done and it reinforced why we enjoy staying with this chain of hotel so much.

It will be our first choice for any return trips we make!!

We are on a road trip from MN to BC and reserved this hotel based on other Tripadvisor reviews. Hotel is modern and clean BUT the one bedroom suite we booked had a number of problems. The hotel advertises satisfaction guarantee policy but when we complained they were not willing to make any concessions on the room price.

The construction of the hotel is so cheap that you can hear people moving around on the floor above. In our case someone checked in at 9pm and kept moving around for over 3 hours driving us nuts. Repeated calls to the front desk had no effect.

The suite had a separate room with a pull out couch. The door could not be closed as it was never properly fitted for the carpet.

Our room was at the end of a hall and the wifi signal was too weak to use. I went to the lobby to use the wifi , it turns out that the internet connection was not working and nobody was able to fix it.

We recently attended a wedding in Regina and spent the night at this hotel. We had previously stayed at the other Holiday Inn Express in Regina and found it to be an average hotel, not bad but not great, so we weren't sure what to expect from this one.

I'm not sure how old this hotel is, but it appears to be fairly new. We checked in and went to our room which was very nice. We had a large room with a king size bed, kitchenette and large washroom. Everything was very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We were given a bottle of water, cookies and mints because we are Priority Club members. This was a nice and unexpected touch.

Although we did not make use of the amenities, there is a pool, hot tub and fitness room. The continental breakfast was wonderful as it usually is at this chain, awesome cinnamon rolls. There is a Tim Horton's in the parking lot which is nice, just don't try to drive through that parking lot to the hotel, go through The Keg portion.

We will choose this hotel the next time we have to spend a night or two in Regina.
