Its the main training camp for all RCMP rookies and this museum showcases the history of the mounties. A must visit. Fees is nominal so I encourage to visit with family and kids.

If you are ever in Regina, or if you live here and have not been to the RCMP Heritage Centre you must go! Especially go on a Monday so that you can see the parade drill at 12.45pm. Or if you are lucky enough, as we were, then you could get to see an actual passing out parade!! Complete with drills, band, red serge uniforms and presentations. We really really enjoyed this and then spent a couple of hours in the Heritage Centre which is exceptionally well presented, informative, interactive and lots to learn about the important role the RCMP has had in maintaining the peace in Canada. Definately worth planning a visit. Cost of entry was $10.00 per adult and this is incredible value! The gift shop is also lovely with very helpful staff and nice momentos to choose from.

So many people visit Saskatchewan and miss visiting RCMP Depot and Heritage Centre. This is just a shame. The red serge and history of our country that is offered here is what tourist desire to see, yet so many miss this gem. I love to go and see Sunset March on Tuesday's in the summer. July 1st is another special time to go for the day and end with watching the marching at depot. MUST SEE for Regina for sure!!!!

I would gave given this a five star rating but it is very expensive to get into this attraction. It does go towards supporting RCMP initiatives but for the price of admission I was not fully satisfied.
