We were expecting better from this hotel. Our room was not very nice. It looked old and requiring renovations. While taking shower, it took forever to get hot water. The next morning, there was no hot water after 15 minutes running. Tv channels were analog.
The lady at the reception was nice. We didn't try their gym, nor their business center.

I was happy to read that you found our front office associates to be pleasant and I did want to apologize for the inconvenience you encountered while you were with us. I am currently having the hot water issue investigated to determine where the problem occurred. Rest assured your comments are very important to us as we continue to do our best to improve the experiences of all our guests while staying with us. We expect to undergo a hotel renovation in the coming months. It is our sincere hope that you would consider giving us another try when your travels next take you to this area.

We arrived here late on our last night in Canada before returning to the USA via Vermont, into New Hampshire then Massachusetts to tour Boston. The hotel is old but very clean and the lady at reception was very helpful. The elevator and the hotel in general could do with renovations. However, our room was clean, the wifi worked properly and there are restaurants in the area,
my husband and I had breakfast alone the next morning around 9:30 am, service stops at 10. While we were still eating the older of the 2 servers proceeded to clear our table and said that they were closing shortly. My husband looked at his watch and we still had about 15 minutes but she had started to clear away. I decided to take some croissants for our sons who were still resting in the room and she gave me a paper bag. We understand the need to break down and prepare for lunch service but if you are closing at 10, then 10 it is. We were not arriving to eat at that time, we were taking our morning tea and coffee before having our yogurt and fruit. Excellent service is criticalfor businesses in the hospitality industry as customers have so many options to choose from.

Recently travelled to be with sons sport team. Workers have to get their stories straight as was told many different things from hotel staff. Originally had reservation for 5 nights but only stayed one and left. Room was in major need for update. No fridge, no microwave and no extras in room. Hotel decided to change my rate after the first night because it was a BUSY weekend. I will NEVER be back and if the sports team has to travel again I am going to stress not to go here with our 12 + rooms that we had booked.

Thank you very much for letting us know about your visit at Delta Sherbrooke.

We would like to apologize for the disagreements encountered during your stay. We understand the concerns you have raised about our product. You will be happy to hear that our rooms will benefit from a rejuvenation cure, starting at the end of the year. It is a very exciting news for us. I agree with you that this building could use a face lift and thus cannot wait for upgrades either. In the meantime, we focus all our energies in cleanliness and guest services.
We were very surprised to hear about the change of rate. When you make a reservation, the rate that you booked cannot be changed. However, if you canceled your reservation and make another one later, now we cannot guaranty that you will benefit from the same low rate. I would value the opportunity to discuss this matter with you if you'd like. Don't hesitate to contact the hotel so we can clarify the situation.

Finally, please know that fridge and microwave are available upon request when you make the reservation.

Once again, we apology for the disagreements encountered. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences so we can serve you better.

In general the hotel could use some major refreshment, the air conditioning was noisy as was the fan. You can wait a while until the hot water will get onto your tap. Breakfasts are so, so but you can eat a good food all around the hotel.

Some of the good things wroth to mention - the beds are very comfortable, and the room service is exceptional.

Travel as a sports team is never easy however being in rooms and having to change rooms midway through is not fun. Being told different things by various staff is frustrating. Pack up your room leave you bags in the room... Put them downstairs... It's okay to be out by 12:30... Next day be out by noon. Not being able to confirm new rooms to parents. Frustrating. Rooms are tired and need to be updated. On the pro side, the beds are comfortable. I don't think we would return.

We would like to apologize for the disagreements encountered during your stay. We understand the concerns you have raised. Having to change rooms was not ideal, but it was the only way to accommodate the Baseball tournament. Everyday, we tried to answer every request positively to make your stay more enjoyable- which can explain why you have been told different things by our staff member. If we could send someone to pick up your luggage or offer you a late check-out, we would have done so. In hopes of reassuring you, the change of room is far from being common practice.

However, we are happy to read that you appreciated the comfort of our beds. On the other hand, I am very sorry our current appearance was not what you had anticipated. We strive to maintain the highest standards, not only in service, but also with regards to maintaining the overall look and feel of the hotel. Unfortunately, this sometimes requires essential renovations in our guest areas which will happen at the end of the year. In the meantime, we focus all our energies in cleanliness and guest services.
