We stayed in a Deluxe room at the Delta Sherbrooke Hotel on December 6th 2013. We enjoyed our one night stay at the hotel. With the Deluxe room comes breakfast vouchers which makes the room a good price / quality deal.

The hotel is a bit old and probably deserves a good lift up. We found the room to smell a bit humidity and the hot water takes for ever to flow. The beds are comfy and we slept very well.

For the breakfast we had a nice buffet and you could order your eggs the way you want. The server is friendly and the service was good.

The hotel has an indoor pool but I didn't experience it.

From a location perspective, the hotel is on King Street West which is a main street and you in walking distance from other restaurants.

You need to pay to park the car and there is a lot of space available. It cost me $7 to park for 24 hours.

Room Tip: We booked room 1016 which is a Deluxe room with two double beds.

Checking in was very pleasant at this hotel. Great first impression. Room as a little dated, and bathroom had a very strong perfume smell which lingered into the room. Lighting was a little dark in the bathroom. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of good pillows. The room was spacious. Overall a good experience and would definately stay here again.

Hotel was average, but the location was good for stopping right over the border after a long drive. When we were there only the front desk staff spoke English. The rooms were ok and we slept well. The hotel is located on a hill in a shopping center which means the parking lot is also a hill. Not an issue for us, but might be if you have trouble walking. They had a breakfast buffet and the food was alright. There are restaurants across the street for dinner. It is not cheap at $185.00 for one night, but nothing in Canada is. They do include tips and taxes on the bill.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to share with us your experience at the Delta Sherbrooke. We appreciate your comments and understand the concerns you’ve raised regarding our location. Therefore, our principal entry and the parking lot are on a flat ground, up the hill. where you will find is on a flat. It will be a pleasure to welcoming you again. Although the hotel needs some upgrading (rooms, bar), the staff was very courteous and all were bilingual (franch, english).
Unomfortable bed, and dated bathroom. However, very clean and comfortable overall.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view to King Street. Also ask if any rooms with updates (ex matress)

The room was spartan, normal sized, not more to say.
Bathroom worn out, hot water for the shower took forever.
Outside noise was annoying. A strange repeating noise from outside the room disturbed the sleep.
Breakfast was average but you have to pay extra.
Parking was added automatically to the bill, sorry I had no car...
All in all a stay I want to forget fast.

Room Tip: It's worth to check other Hotels the area has to offer.

Had a good stay here but the following things bothered me.

1 parking costs money. (I have never heard of this before in sucha rural town like Sherbrooke and with such a high fee for the hotel itself it seems like a tactic almost designed to scare people off) .. its also worth noting the hotels offer parking for free.

2.restaurant too expensive! (The cheapest thing at the restaurant is a 16$ Caesar salad) first you suck my money out for the parking. But if god forbid you get hungry and want room service it's more expensive here than the ritz Carlton.

3. Blankets are just 3 sheets with no stuffing. (I was in a room with two beds both did not have a blanket but merely multiple sheets stuck together

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your feedback is valuable to us as it provides us the opportunity to address your specific concerns and progressively work to exceed your expectations. We are actually working to remove the parking cost. Since it has been effective for many years, it won't disappear tomorrow. But trust me, we're working on it. I also understand your concers regarding the menu of the dinning room. We are about to change it. Finally, we do have blanket, don't hesitate to ask for it if you're planning on other visit ! I am sorry for the inconveniences encountered during your stay. I hope you will give the Delta Sherbrooke an other chance. Catherine Rivard Viens, Guest Service Manager.
