“You will definitely feel at home. Great hotel”

I have stayed at the Grand Times in Sherbrooke about 5 times in the past year. It is a new and modern hotel. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are always spotless, the bathrooms very clean and the beds comfortable. Your room also includes a great breakfast in their comfortable lobby which overlooks a little lake that has a walking path all around it. The area is beautiful and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Certainly the owners of this place made sure they did it right! Modern amenities, very comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast arrangement in a pleasant view room.
Although parts of the building show the tricks of making the most with the least. Lots of exposed concrete, offset by interesting modern art. Really comfortable rooms, but for the less fortunate opening their curtains to the main street of Sherbrooke, it would be a good idea to ask for a lakeview room. Although there is no noticeable noise from the street, it's just nice to have a better view to wake up to.
The breakfast room offers a great selection, but gets a little jammed up with people and tables, making it awkward to move around. I may be splitting hairs on that, but it doesn't feel right to stumble over people in the middle of breakfast as you maneuver your toast and fruit to a faraway table.

I am in Sherbrooke every 4-6 weeks. Definitely stay here. No need to think about anywhere else. It is the cleanest hotel in a very safe easy access place. You can walk to whatever you need. The hotel is beautiful, many english channels on the TV, although I did not use the pool I saw people going in and out all the time. The only negative - - the bar staff. While sitting at the bar over a couple of nights these girls do not know anything about different beers except there names. One visitor from the USA asked for a Pale Ale or a Lager and the poor girl had no idea what to do. Another guest looked at the drink menu and asked for a glass of the Chardonnay and the girl asked if she wanted the 'white wine'. So aside from the bar staff - - great hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in June. The room was spacious and the air conditioning made it comfortable in the heat. The beds were super comfy (firm) and there was no problem getting extra pillows to accommodate an allergy. The bathroom was fabulous and we all really liked the shower. Our room faced the street so there was no view per se, but there also wasn't any road noise. There was no tea/coffee maker in the room, but there was a mini fridge, iron, and hair dryer.
The indoor pool was small and coolish, but a nice option for a dip in. The back patio overlooking the lake was fabulous and the waiters we had were great. The breakfast was very limited - loads of bread, only 2 cheeses (disappointing for Quebec!), and some fruit. There was no black tea even though we requested it the first day. Boiled eggs, cold meats, and yoghurt should be standard options for a hotel in this price range but none of these were available. The Internet access in the lobby was handy and free.

Room Tip: The water view upgrade rooms are nice.

Just came back from 1 knight stay at the Grand Times, our room on the 6th floor with a view of the water, was very beautiful, comfortable with a spacious bathroom.
The staff, polite, welcoming.
We will stay there again.
