This place is there to suck cash out of you without providing value. For instance we ordered a pitcher of sangria. It is juice mixed with Sprite, a touch of wine and ice, gross and not sangria. Wen we questioned the waiter her admitted it was a rip off but it is what the owner wants. Well the owner can keep his tourist trap. Enough said.

I looked at this Italian restaurant on a previous day and was assured they do the best pasta in Quebec! Well, a few nights later I came to see if they lived up to their claim. I had the caprese followed by the salmone with penne. The caprese was fresh and just right. The salmone was delicious. The penne were superb and there was plenty but not too much sauce. Not sure whether the pasta is the best but it is certainly one of the best.

The service was very good apart from being economical with the water. Cost of the food was CA$26 before tax.

Note that this restaurant has two addresses: 33 Rue Saint-Pierre and Place Royale. I ate at the former but there shouldn't be any difference.

We stopped here for lunch after taking a walking tour of the city. We ate outside, which gives you a nice view of the square. The service was very good and the pizza was also very good. It had a nice, crisp thin crust, which is what we like. What surprised and pleased us the most however, was the Greek salad. It was the best we have ever had and we have eaten at Greek restaurants. I can't explain why, but it simply was. Very nice experience overall.

We visited the restaurant for lunch on June 29th. Overall it was a good dining experience, comfortable seating, great location for people watching, prompt/friendly service and the pizzas were tasty. The best pizza ever not really but a tasty lunch for sure. The value for dollar was there but just barely, you would not have wanted to pay anymore for the meal than we did.
