“Good food, impressive ambiance & staff, a little pricey”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

Beautiful décor, across the street from the Best Western hotel. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Kevin (our waiter) did very well speaking to us in English (considering we both can't speak French). The food was very good, the best parts were the fresh bread with garlic butter & the appetizers. The main courses were good but not exceptional. The price is a little high but still worth it for special occasions.

“Will not go back.”
Reviewed April 20, 2014 via mobile

First off, this place advertises free for kids under 10 on Sundays. I asked if the promotion was valid when we sat down, they said yes, but seemed to forget about it when they brought me my bill. I then had to sign something in order to get me discount...

Next, I ordered the veal marsala and I had to send it back. The marsala sauce tasted off, almost burnt and the veal cutlet was soggy. It also came topped with raw sliced mushrooms?!? This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant... Their pasta was good, but a little on the expensive side for noodles.

Seems to be the place to go if you aren't a foodie or if you have a large group.

“Excellent food”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

Excellent food, wonderful waiters, easy walking distance from our hotel, really deserves a 4 3/4 (not a 5); they were a little slow initially getting to our table. After that they were very friendly and helpful.

“A Must Dine If You Visit Quebec”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

This restaurant was one of the best treasures we found during our stay for New Year's Eve. We had booked an overnight in the Holiday Inn down the street and happened to try it because it was nearby. The overall ambience is delightful, the wines exquisite and the food some of the best pasta I can remember having in some time. One dish I specifically remember is the parsnip soup- after figuring out the French translation- I managed to order it as the soup of the day and it was amazing. The staff is wonderful and accommodating towards English speakers. The rooms are warm and eloquent. Such an unexpected treat!

“Good Spot To Eat At If Staying At The Nearby Holiday Inn Express”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

Family style restaurant with a selection of food to meet everyone's palate. Restaurant was busy at the time of our visit but never the less our waiter did a very good job of looking after us. Restaurant will not win any prizes for "haute cuisine" but the food was good and arrived warm to the table. As well, the portions were more than adequate. Within easy walking distance of the nearby Holiday Inn Express and Best Western hotels.
