We got into our hotel after 9 PM on a Sunday night hungry and finding their restaurant closed. The hotel desk recommended LeManoir as being close and great. It is less than a block from the Best Western, easily walkable if the weather is good. It had a very classy exterior and interior, with both dining and bar sections. The menu is quite French and varied, and it was easy to find appetizers and entrees that were to everyone's liking. We all chose seafood, with excellent results. Our server was extremely helpful and provided first class service. I would very highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Quebec City.

“WE were recommended Le Manoir by the Hotel Sepia down the street and were not disappointed although it was late.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2012

My grown son and I had a very nice meal here although it was a bit late when we arrived. The Hotel Sepia told us about it and even brought a menu to our rom to take a look. The food was excellent and the waitress went out of her way to make us welcome and enjoy our meal. Would certainly recommend this restaurant if you are close to Quebec city. They have 2 other facilities as well but we didn't sample them.

“Saint-Foy location was excellent!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2012

We stayed at the Holiday Inn around the corner and took the bus in to Quebec each day, whose stop was right outsi Le Manoir. One morning we decided, "We need to try this place out!" Great decision! The menu is all in French, but that actually added to the meal. The food was upscale, but not annoyingly so like so many pretentious places who try to be something and really just accomplish snotty. Le Manoir has excellent, friendly staff and food that covers the spectrum...we had pizza and pasta, nothing exotic, but it was fantastic. And that was after a carpaccio appetizer! Excellent food, and we weren't out of place in shorts and golf shirts sitting next to businessmen in suits. We went early, so the clientele may change as it gets later, but if you want an upscale meal without upscale pretentiousness...definitely suggest Le Manoir!

“Foldaway OK but service and ambiance was great”

Though not really impressed with the food the ambiance and staff were great. Price was also very good. The food presentation was excellent but the sauces tasted like they came out of a can

“Good food - bad service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2012 via mobile

Stayed in Quebec and went to this restaurant close to our hotel . Firstly after being seated it took our server a good 10 minutes to come get our order (hadnt even recieved drinks) As someone who only knows basic French I didn't understand some of the menu and asked the server for help . She was quite rude once she found out we did not speak French. She brought another server to the table who spoke English and we placed our order for food but then he rushed off so fast we still hadn't ordered drinks . We got our food and asked for beverages and by the end of the meal our drinks showed up. The food was very good - but the service was terrible and unfriendly .
