I stayed at a B and B around the corner from Le Cafe Krieghoff and enjoyed a pleasant dinner on the patio. I had the salmon, roasted vegetables, and rice pilaf and everything was nicely prepared. The service was friendly and it was fun people watching. It seems like a real neighborhood place where francophone families eat, rather than one of the many tourist traps found in and around the old city. The food is pretty traditional and basic but nicely done. I would recommend this as a cozy, local place for an intimate dinner.
