“Pleasantly surprised ”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

Upon a recommendation we visited Ciccio's. Small interior but elegantly dressed, loved the soft contemporary music playing and also enjoyed the pleasant staff. Best part was the lunch special, 2 pasta selections plus dessert and coffee/tea afterwards for one low price! Delicious and fulfilling! Highly recommend!

“unique and inviting”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

We took our daughter and son in law to this lovely spot for their anniversary and it was memorable. It is not just the food, which is very good, but the service--which was more than service, but warm hearted and generous. it was a memorable evening and I recommend this special place to anyone looking for good memories--and I have been around the world so to speak, so know what matters.

“A most wonderful evening”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

We celebrated our anniversary at Ciccio Cafe last Thursday and they made it a very special occasion for us. The food was fantastic - especially the smoked trout appetizer. The other dishes were prepared with great care and were delicious. But the service was above and beyond anything I have experienced in much more expensive restaurants. They made our anniversary extra special bringing us drinks and after dinner drinks on the house, and a complimentary sampler of their desserts topped with a whimsical candle. Thanks to these wonderful people, we had a memorable anniversary and hope to return for another.

“Good food and close to Grand Theatre”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

We chose the Café Ciccio based on proximity to the Grand theatre, and found it an excellent dinner location. While very busy on Friday nite, the service was efficient and friendly, tho we did feel a bit rushed; reservations definitely recommended. Only 17 tables and not much space between, but a nice, comfortable décor; use of paper over the table cloth took a bit away from the attractiveness. A surprisingly large menu provided plenty of choice - we had escargot in pernod and smoked salmon as appetizers and bison (a bit stringy) and a nice shrimp/scallop in curry dish - all well done, but presentation of main dishes just 'ok', (but taste terrific).Nice selection of wine by glass ($6.50-9), and prices of entrees very reasonable for the quality ($20's) - even table du hote well priced (bison dish $30). All in all, very satisfying and a very reasonable price.

“Still my favorite”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

We have many good restaurants in Quebec City, but that one is still my favourite gathering place to enjoy a nice diner with friends. Staff is very nice and the food was outstanding as usual.
