“Our favorite restaurant in Quebec”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

This restaurant was quaint and cozy. The fun was excellent! We ate here for lunch one day and dinner another. For lunch we had the Menu du Jour which consisted of a glass of wine, butternut squash soup, duck stuffed chicken in a orange sauce and creamy potatoes and squash, and dessert. It was absolutely fabulous!!!!! My husband has escargot for a $4 price upgrade. We ate this delicious gourmet lunch for two for $62 including tax and tip! The best deal! We also ate here for dinner New Year's Eve. Good food but more pricey. However the level of quality in food was excellent. The atmosphere is superb. It is a little house with small intimate rooms and low ceilings. We just loved the atmosphere. Blue and white french provencial table linens. Tres jolie!

“Good fixed price menu (3 courses + wine/beer)”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Group of 4, we took advantage of the $20 fixed price menu they offer from 12:00 to 5:45pm which includes glass of wine/beer, soup, main + dessert. There are a number of upgrade options you have on this menu and we chose to upgrade to the wild game meat pie so our meals were $22 + tax & tip. We found this to be an excellent value and in fact we only ordered one dessert for the table because we were stuffed after eating pea soup and a large main course. We tried the maple syrup pie which was warm, super sweet, and yummy. I highly recommend the meat pie (delicious flakey crust and the sides were excellent). Both the wine and beers that were included were very good. As others have said, there are some very expensive items on the menu (upwards of $50-80), however we stuck to the basic menu and left fully satisfied and happy. Ambiance and service were great as well.

Really enjoyed the setting the house is awesome, the service was very personable and very attentive. The food is a bit in the pricey side but everything we had was very good, the goat cheese salad and maple creme Brûlée were outstanding

“Lovely ambiance, nice presentation matched with scrumptious taste and pleasant service”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

We enjoyed our entire experience at this restaurant . We ate a delicious, traditional meal and had a very pleasant server. I would recommend it for a romantic date night, couples looking to enjoy a new taste or a family gathering. I don't necessarily think it's a place for younger kids since they can be picky eaters considering the price. Although, they have soup and fries and such to accommodate them. It is a bit pricy, but their fixed menu is a good option. All and all we would dine here again.
