We booked a suite for 5 nights of for my wife's birthday vacation in Quebec.

Plus: Room, concierge, restaurant, SPA services, Hot tub, sauna, position to winter activities
Minus: nothing

We really felt welcomed from day one and well cared at this modern and very well appointed hotel. Staff is friendly and normal, without stiffness or false politeness. The suite was large, well one bedroom apartment with two big plasma TVs... The action is outside though. Ice hotel is a 20 minute walking or 5 minutes driving. Sleeping there overnight was a little too adventurous, if not touristy, but perfectly possible nevertheless. So we took just a nice guided tour behind the ice hotel and spent few hours inside (nice party at the bar). Snowmobiling tours starts right from hotels parking lot. A nice dog sled adventure trip is offered by the hotel. Cross country starts at 10 minutes driving toward Charlesbourg hills, also directed from reception desk. Dinner at the restaurant was way better then expected and old city, with all the options, is just 15 minutes driving.

Room Tip: If you have winter gear, booking an apartment makes more sense.

Staying at the Hotel de Glacé, we booked a night here before our stay (as well as the one included for the same night at the HdG). Finding it was easy - right off the high way. The parking was easy - they had all the snowmobile trailers park around the side, so there was plenty of front row parking every time we came and went (day and night). The lobby is small, and the lines did back up, but we were helped right away. They spoke English, after we provided our courtesies in French. Check in was easy and smooth. The next day, when I had a dozen questions about the HdG, they were able to help me with most of them, when it wasn't even their property. I thought that was excellent customer service. The hotel was clean and well kept. We had a corner room on the third floor. It was large and clean. Having the ice machines on floor two and four was a bit inconvenient, but nothing major. Breakfast was average. You could do the buffet or order off a menu. My boyfriend did the buffet, and I did the crepes on the menu. Because of our breakfast, we we're expecting much for our included four course dinner, but WOW - we were WRONG! The meal was incredible! And not just for a hotel! We heard the food in Quebec City would be out of this world, but didn't think a cookie cutter hotel chain 25 kilometers north of the city would have anything to talk about. Our server was outstanding - Stephanie? I knew it then..should have written this review sooner. I told her what kind of alcohol I was in the mode for and to surprise me, and the bar tender came up with a great martini - I had three of them! Our apps, salads, and deserts were good. But when dinner was served - we were blown away. I had the duck and it was perfectly medium rare. My boyfriend had the beef ravioli in this bacon cream sauce. Yum! We couldn't get enough. See pictures below. Shower/water pressure was good. No pushy maid service - they respected the "come back later" sign on our door so we could sleep in. We also used the shuttle service to get to our dog sledding activity. The driver was friendly, pointed out a number of sites along the way, local facts about the ski and snow mobile places. He was prompt and very nice. Check out was easy as well. Overall, it was a standard hotel chain, with excellent customer service and dinner items!

A recent posting on tripadvisor of our experience at the nearby Hotel du Glace and the unfortunate collaboration between it and the Four Points Sheraton prompted immediate contact by the owner/General manager of the Sheraton. He apologized for the nonsensical behaviour of his front desk staff during our visit and the consequent efforts that we had to make to get a breakfast through the "meal coupon" system that was part of the package. His attitude was entirely professional, courteous and understanding and we are convinced that had he been present during this period we would have been more than pleased with our experience. The hotel itself is well located for trips to the north of the city allowing easy access to snow-shoeing, dog-sledding etc.

We stayed here the night before the ice hotel as its 2 mins from the ice hotel.
the rooms were very clean and the staff were very nice ..
we had room service for breakfast .. I'd give it a 6/10 but the steaks for dinner were excellent !
I'd recommend staying here.

Maybe it's because we just stayed at the famous Ice Hotel but, checking into Four Points the next day seemed dull. I actually wondered if I was in the right place because they have such a tiny lobby / front desk for a large building.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. No complaints there.

We didn't see much in the way of amenities except for the regular stream of bikini clad 20-somethings running outside our window through the snow to get to the large, outdoor barrel sauna. Maybe because it's winter but, I didn't hear about anything else they could offer.

Room Tip: We somehow ended up with a disabled room (we assume). The bathroom was enormous and had handrails. G...

I am sorry that you did not have a good experience with our amenities. Indeed, there is an outdoor hot-tub and sauna but for a more relaxing experience we also have an indoor spa where you can enjoy a nice massage and a wide variety of treatments. Also, the Restaurant le Dijon is on the same floor if you'd like to have a drink or enjoy a delicious meal.

what a beautiful hotel to stay at. We actually had a package a room at the Hotel de glace on Jan 30-13 which included the use of the room here. The room here was wonderful, nice decor, great bed.The hot pool out side is an excellent place to spend some time and warm up. I must say the staff at this hotel are excellent they truly should be commended. We found them all very freindly and helpful, but Especially the girl on the day shift, she was excellent. We found the food at the Le Dijion restaurant outstanding. With our package we had a four course meal we had ordered the Filet Mignon , it was delicious and the presentation was excellent!. The breakfast we recieved was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had too bad I can't remember the name of the dish I had. The staff who served us in the restaurant as well were excellant
We also used the spa services here, the therapists made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and gave us great service.
I would highly recommed this hotel

I definitely recommend this hotel. All the staff is very lovely and friendly, specially Sabrina, Sophie, Kevin(front desk) and Steffanie (waitress).
It has a wonderful sauna and jacuzzi for free. The wi fi signal in my room was very good and you don't need to pay for Internet. The parking is also free.
The bed is very comfortable and the tv has pay per view also.
It's a nice place but you will need a car or taxi . There's nothing to do around walking, specially in the winter.
